I love Bottle & Pint. It's the best pub I've found in the Conejo Valley. Most importantly, B&P gets some of the best craft beer from all across California. They have an ongoing relationship with Russian River, and are thus one of the few places where you can often score a pint of Pliny the Elder (and on special occasions, Pliny the Younger). Need I say more? In addition, they constantly shift through local beers from Brewery X, The Bruery, Kern River, Pure Project, and so forth. The only bummer is that I've rarely seen out-of-sate beers - so don't expect to find Tree House, Alchemist, Maine Beer Co, etc. The consistency with which B&P offers actually good stouts is also notable. I love that they support the stout community with solid options from The Bruery, Fremont, The Lost Abbey, etc. Also notable are the staff, who are all incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Easily the best pub staff I've experienced. It's almost unusual how nice they are. Lastly, don't forget that this is BOTTLE and Pint - so please do check out their walk in fridge! They get some amazing and rare beers quite frequently. Often I stop in just to check the...
Read moreThis place is great if you're looking for hard to find and speciality beers. It can be a little pricey, but probably still cheaper than trying to order online or join some sort of beer club. They have a bar and some high-tops for those who want to try one of their roughly 20 rotating beers on tap. They'll provide pretzels but otherwise you're on your own for food (they allow you to have it delivered or bring it in). Also, for a nominal fee, you can bring your own bottle or buy and drink one from their cold storage. They also have additional beer at room temp. The atmosphere is jovial and laid back, and it can get busy but in my experience there's usually plenty of space to sit. Definitely worth checking out if beer...
Read moreThis is a ridiculously high rating to be given to a pub which has no kitchen. But boy, the food. The Lamb chops were amazing, and the chicken fingers with ranch and barbeque sauce were good too. The tap beers are awesome. You can also order a collection of 4 picked drafts, 5oz each, to get feel of what you Wana have as a 16oz glass. There is a section where you have their cooler and racks full of bottles beer from local breweries, which can be intriguing for beer lovers. They have "buy one, get one free " on them too. This place is definitely worth checking out if you wana give yourself the pleasure of unwinding...
