Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

My apologies for the delay in writing a review about this location. I first dined here in the fall of 2019. I had just moved into the neighborhood,,and a very dear friend brought me here. When I lived on the East Coast I use to dine at "Chili's 🌶️ restaurants. I would eat the mozzarella cheese sticks.. Talk about addictive back in the day. So this location is in the suburban enclave of Newbury Park CA. It's located near a frontage road just a skip and a jump from the 101 freeway. The restaurant is situated in a corner of the parking lot with a Marriott hotel. So the food is pretty good at this location,, because I believe they have a comparable staff. The second time I visited here,, I was joined with a few people. I wasn't paying,,but I decided to order the chicken strips and I believe I shared a few finger foods with my party"? A former acquaintance treated us to a meal,,no expense spared. She paid for our bill ,,the gentleman with us he ordered a steak,,a cocktail and she ordered other items. Seeing that she used Apple card,, I don't have a copy of the receipt. I do have pictures that I can share from last year in 2024. We had a wonderful server,,the food kept coming. No disappointments what so ever. This chili's is very popular with the locals. Also they are competing with a few other restaurants,,that have bar's,,large screen television's. Parking is first come ,,first serve. You can also park across the roadway. Just use caution,,the driver's don't have to stop. Yes I would recommend this restaurant. Always remember to...

I am so disappointed I couldn't help but do a review.. I exclusively order to go so I expect the quality to drop slightly and I accept that upfront.I normally get the Cajun ckn Pasta or Ckn & Shrimp Pasta which Is usually pretty good but the Garlic Bread that comes with it is a bit cold & Soggy but otherwise I'd recommend.. But Today I got Southwestern Egg Rolls which I used to dig but been a long time..They used to come Split diagonally With a kind of backed appeared top ..Hell even in the Grocery store version..I got 3 soggy Egg rolls .Nothing southwestern about it.. Cut into it and it was a pocket of Filling and grease... I also got as Bowl oF CHILLI, you can assume I had some expectations..I expected a pretty amazing bowl of Chilli..... It was HORRIFIC..... I gave two stars because the Cheese Cake was Good.... Overall, I'd still recommend this Chilli's to someone but they need to review their Quality Control B4 it...

Saturday night and the potions size on the pick two bbq was shamefull. Dry food and had to upgrade to Mac and cheese for 1$. Yet the small bowl is half full and it’s dried out. The host suggest we wait 5 minutes for our table at the bar. My friend got a beer but the bartender kept asking what I wanted to drink after I explained I wanted to just order a drink once we were seated. Felt more like intimidation. Our server was nice once we were seated but she seemed so stressed it wasn’t a nice atmosphere. The tv I was able to watch had the color not working correctly and our table didn’t have a computer at it to order an appetizer or play games. I mentioned the portion size and the server agreed and shrugged but I would have preferred she sent a manager over. I would prefer a Yard House next time, definitely not returning to...
