I used the online ordering app because this Starbucks is always a nightmare. They always are filling the online orders before in person customers also. Anyway I order it at 11:28 and my order was never filled according to the app. It continuously said “order in progress”. Finally at 11:55 I decided to just go there and finish waiting for my order. Of course I walk in and there are 15 drinks and several food items for “online orders” waiting. Including mine. My sandwiches were soggy and the ice in all my drinks were melting. They messed up both my coffee orders. When we asked the head barista why my app still said order in progress she said “we have no control over the app”. Excuse me?? If I were an employee on the clock, I would have trouble watching an accumulating line of several customers waiting, while obliviously working in slow-motion and prioritizing conversation.
And as the security camera watches customers leave that no longer want to wait.
The customers’ time is just as valuable.
But these baristas seem to have no trouble turning a blind eye.
Some employees are just standing there, having mastered the illusion they are doing something.

Read moreI'm not kidding, the store motto should be "Sorry for the wait." This location gets a huge morning rush and they're always understaffed. Each employee is trying to do 3 things at once and it's absolute chaos. Every time I stop by there are always new faces, that can't be good. I overhear old employees say how they can't make a certain drink so there is an issue with ongoing training here as well. It's only going to get worse with the new commercial offices opening soon. I've given up making this location a standard stop for coffee every morning, I go straight to work or stop off at Western Bagel.
