This Taco Bell ignores people who go inside. Last two times I came in, it was early in the morning, no one was in the store, no cars in the drive thru. I order on the screen, order is in, and no one comes to make food. I can see 2 people working on organizing things, they can see me as well. I can hear 2 people talking where I cannot see them. I placed my order there are 4 staff and I am waiting, no one is making food. It is about 2 minutes later someone comes to the drive thru, now the staff start making food, they make the drive thru first my food waits. Two people are making food at the same time, my quesadilla is done but it waits as they finish off the drive thru. They finally put some of my order on a tray and leave on the counter. There is no drink, I look straight into the eyes of the worker "drink" I say making a drinking motion with my hand, she turns away back to the food line. I say louder, "can I get my drink," the two people at the food line look at each other seemingly confused that a person would order a drink. Finally the older one says something and the younger one grabs my cup. At the drink station, no lids, fill my cup and go to a table. Look in the bag, no hashbrown, they realize that they forgot and drop 2 hashbrowns in a bag at the counter and yell hashbrowns. I don't want 2 hashbrowns, I want a little more professional work, care about the customers who come inside, make the orders correct. I don't want people to be overly energetic and happy 24/7 at this fast food job, I don't need a show, just minimum competency to fulfill orders. And enough decency to care about getting the basics right. I can hear them all talking, laughing, having a great time, just bring a little of that to the front and the customers.
Also the go light on the food here they are not stuffing these quesadillas, thin quesadillas, and not very warm, just lukewarm. The best I can say about this Taco Bell is that it is here and it is open, but it's not great, but then again what fast...
Read moreThis location is very hit or miss where some days it's perfect and some days it's not, but lately has been consistently terrible.
The employees, from the little interaction you can have at the drive-thru, are always friendly. Zero complaints in that regard.
However, while I appreciate a friendly employee, I don't care about that so much if my food is consistently incorrect or made terribly. Taco Bell is my favorite, and this is the only one close to where I work, so around once a week I go to this location and the last 4-5 times have been totally incorrect, making it so I can't eat my food.
If you order without any alterations, you'll mostly be fine but sometimes to food is stale but I've experienced this with every Taco Bell at some point.
However, if you're like me and you make changes to your food, even simple changes, you'll likely have your order messed up. It doesn't seem like they even pay attention to the POS when they're making the food. I always ask for no spicy ranch on my CGC, and it seems instead of following the directions of NO spicy ranch, they do the opposite and put extra. Alternatively, I get crunchwraps sometimes that don't even seem like they're cooked and have the strength of a wet noodle so you can't hold it either.
Ultimately, this location is frequently a disappointment which is even more so disappointing because they seem to be one of the FEW Taco Bells left in the area that haven't raised their prices.
I don't want to give it 1 star because like, it's Taco Bell. When it's made correctly it's perfect, but it's just so consistently not made correctly that it's becoming a...
Read moreThe Customer Service and attentiveness to detail at this Taco Bell on Rancho Road in Thousand Oaks is the worst. Last week I ordered two steaks soft tacos and when I got home 20 minutes later, realized that they were chicken! Today I ordered a cheesy rollup off their dollar menu and they tried to automatically charge me for a beef and tomatoes which would've cost more than the $1.29 roll up! When I told him, I only wanted the cheesy rollup off the menu, he again entered it, and added the beef and cheese, and I had to say again that I didn't want that. As I was driving out, I decided since I had issues before to check my order only to realize that they never Gave me any hot sauce nor even asked me about it. What kind of Taco Bell serves food without hot sauce? I had to go back into the store and wait behind multiple customers before I could get a couple of packets of hot sauce since they don't put it out , because I guess Customer steal it. The food at this restaurant is consistent as other Taco Bell's, but the Customer Service is truly the worst! Need somebody to train these young kids on how to treat a customer and to properly take And Fulfill Mobile orders. But, at least they gave me a fork...
