Hip Hop Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Tifton

Texas girl here. I was visiting Georgia and on our way to Columbus from Folkston. I Google searched 'restaurants near me'. I decided we would stop in Tifton, which had the most eateries and wow it was a great decision! Hip Hop Fish and Chicken delivered fresh, hot & tasty 😋 food. I had pick 2 combo with wings and catfish nuggets, it came with fries and slaw but I also ordered corn nuggets and okra. I have to say the fried okra wasn't a small piece with batter falling off it seemed hand breaded. The chicken was moist and tender I could tell it was soaked in brine because the taste was all the way thru. Everything was nice n seasoned not salty. My husband had the whiting and gizzard plate. The gizzards were tender I almost thought I bit into a pork chop and you can't go wrong with whiting fish. Everything was perfectly seasoned & fried. They have a signature dusting on everything I think it was salt? Whatever it was, it was 😋 maybe crack dust 😂. The atmosphere was nice & clean to include the bathroom and we were greeted upon walking in with all smiles. Glad I found this small town gem!...

Fish, wings, fried green tomatoes, and show nuff Georgia sweet tea! I had just left the doctor's office and was hungry hangry was more like it. I don't know if it was luck or fate that Drew is here but we are sure glad it did. We were so hungry that we couldn't decide the menu was plenty and plenty good so we picked two or three things off the menu and said these were good everything was good and vice versa. We ordered and were asked to move up to the window and when we got to the window the young lady said that we were kind of in between dinner and supper and if we had a few minutes they would cook us up something fresh well I don't care how angry or hungry you are that's not something you turned down especially when it comes to good fried food. And we were not let down it was absolutely fabulous is good as the service. I remember asking me that I want some of the seasoning I said girls is you crazy how am I going to come eat here and not have a season on top I said put on everything...

I had an incredible dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting woman who made us feel right at home. She was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, especially with the menu. I truly appreciated her ability to speak Spanish, which made the experience even better.

My sister and I had such a great time — we ordered a ton of food and just spent the afternoon grazing and catching up. We didn't realize how large the portions were, so we ended up saving some for dinner, which was a nice bonus!
