We called & asked if reservations could be made because we had a friend playing at the resturant & we wanted to be able to see & hear him play. We were told no reservations were taken from 6 to 8. REMEMBER NO RESERVATIONS FROM 6-8. So we made the reservation for 5:45, letting the lady know we specifically were coming to hear the musician. The food was good, the waiter was good. A lady, maybe manager, came by a few times asking if everything was okay. All is good. We finished eating around 6:35 & was talking & enjoying the music. The lady came back by & told us at 6:45 that she was sorry to keep coming by but she had this table reserved for someone. I'm sorry but we just spent $100 for food & there is no line outside for people waiting to be seated & there is a table for 6 in our same area that has no reserved table sign on it that someone could have been seated. There was also people seated around us who had been there longer than us & they weren't asked to leave! I guess because we weren't drinking the alcohol, we were the chosen ones to leave. So much for the 3 1/2 hour drive my son drove to hear the musician! We weren't planning on staying until 8 but we did want to sit a little longer & enjoy it since there was still seating around & no line of people. We left quietly & said nothing to the lady but just know we thought it was very unprofessional & rude to ask a paying customer to leave 5 minutes after we finished eating. We will...

WARNING!!! After enjoying our meal and being here for less than 2 hours, a random lady (who I eventually found out was the manager) boldly walked up and interrupted a conversation my friend and I were having. Word for word she said “Do you guys need something? If not, you need to wrap this up and leave. We have reservations waiting for this table.”

We were still enjoying our chips/dip and finishing up the one drink we each ordered.

Never in my life have I been told that I need to wrap up a conversation at a restaurant and told to leave. Shell shocked at how the manager just told us we needed to leave and walked away, my friend and I assumed there must have been a long line at the front and people waiting to be sat so we graciously got up to leave. When we walked to the front, there was not a single person waiting to be seated. Half the parking lot was empty as well!!!

I called once I got to my car and asked to speak with the manager. She was the one who answered the phone and she immediately knew who I was. Her response was that there was someone in their car waiting for our table. I tried to have an amicable conversation, but the manager didn’t care what so ever. I’ve genuinely never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. They forever lost my service. So much for driving 45 mins to...

My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times and was very impressed with the food and the service. On one particular Friday evening close to this past Christmas, we decided to have dinner there because we heard they were serving tamales, which we love! They only came as an appetizer of one, so we each ordered one. My husband dug into his and he said it was very good, but a little dry. Mine was very tasty, but halfway through, I hit something hard with my fork. Turns out, it was the flat part of a wing, like the entire flat part, bones and all! Our server assured us that's how tamales are made. The chicken was raw as could be, I couldn't even tear the meat away with my fork. The manager came over and assured me the chicken had been in a slow cooker for 12 hours...was it plugged in?? I told her I had eaten several tamales and had never found an entire piece of chicken inside, especially raw chicken. I asked for possibly another one and she said I would be charged for it. She sent over a server with a piece of dried, boiled chicken breast which she did charge me for. We have not...

Service better than food. I'm Mexican-American, born & raised in Austin, Texas, my husband's hometown is a mile from the border of Mexico in Texas so I think I can give an honest review of "Mexican" food. We ordered the fajitas & I noticed they didn't look or taste like fajitas. They tasted ok. My husband makes fajitas. His are way better! Once we left, I figured it out, it was round steak the kind that is pre-cut & labeled for stir-fry at the store that they used for fajitas. They should be using skirt steak but it's more expensive so they wouldn't be able to charge $7.99 for a plate. Service was very good except you have to walk all the way to the back to talk to the staff who then seat you. Which isn't right. They should have a podium at the front with someone standing there to greet & seat people. Then I noticed stuff on the floor, it looked like strings from a mop. As well as some of the chairs were "repaired" with duct tape, nice. The window blinds were covered in dust that was very noticeable. Needless to say we won't be going back.

This is our 3rd time visiting, where it’s a half-way meeting point between Atlanta and Fl relatives. We choose this place as it had outdoor seating (so dogs can attend) and it’s a good midpoint. They renovated nicely from our last visit. Great flower arrangements. The chips & salsa is great!! It seems they are going for a fancier Mexican now? Husband got the nachos which he said missed the mark - he prefers normal nachos (ground beef, cheese, toppings, etc), this was like fancy twist on it. I got the grilled chicken breast - it was tasty! Side portions small but flavorful. Other members got sopes and burrito. Overall. It was good service, good food, great setting. The third time we went there, seemed to have lot of flies, which detracted from the experience. The mahi mahi tacos were excellent, however. For our 4th visit, we had the shrimp tacos; chimichanga dinner; Mexican tacos; and steak fajitas. They do such a good job with presentation
