Who is running this place? When it opened I had two experiences In the drive thru where they got my order correct. Followed by two experiences in which my order was not correct. On all occasions the wait was very long and when they give you food the bag it is so full you can’t even close it. The food gets cold by the time you get home. Why can’t you just separate the food into two bags? At the very least it would keep my food warm or allow me to look through the bags to make sure the order is correct. When the fries get cold they are practically in edible. After not going there in over a year I decided to give another chance thinking maybe they got they’re act together. Nope! They took my order asked me my name. The wait wasn’t bad. Got to the window and they confirmed my name. Over $10 for a #3 combo. They gave me my bag which did not close. Why do they insist the fries need to go on top? I had to ask for fry sauce after getting the bag and then try to stuff it in the bag myself. Got home and can’t say I was shocked to have someone else’s order in which I did not eat. I just threw the food away and called them. I live about 15 minutes away and was not about to go back. I just wanted a refund on my food. The person answering the phone was friendly but informed me they can’t give refunds because the chip card needs to be present. Not true, I know how chip readers work. Like I would initiate a chargeback with my credit card company over a refund. Whatever, I guess I will wait until I get my 1 free combo meal card in the mail. I mean cmon you can’t refund my card because of your sophisticated credit card processing but send me a card via the mail? It’s 2020 what the pony express couldn’t get it here quicker? I will be watching for the postman so I can go wait forever to get my overflowing bag with cold fries. I probably won’t even redeem it. I gave you several chances Freddy’s. Came here after our appt at CSU Vet Hospital. So happy this location has the dog patties! Our pups love these!
Unfortunately, our human food orders were not made great. I understand I had a "Special" order with my burger on lettuce, add this, extra this and that, and take this off....and it was made extremely basic, minimally meeting the special order that was placed. That was frustrating because I even saw things on the receipt that were incorrect and brought it up to the manager before he made my order (he was the one that also took the order), and he stated he "had it" and understood what I wanted. So....I had faith. It was disappointing, like I said- thus the 3-star rating.
In addition- my husband ordered a plain vanilla shake. Thank god he does not have food allergies (like I do) because there were chunks of Butterfinger at the bottom of his cup....how they got there and why, we don't know. But this could have ended badly if I had been the one drinking that.
I did not want to knock the rating down too much because the overall atmosphere was very good- the restaurant was very clean, the condiment section by the drink station was very well-stocked, the drink station was neat and clean, and the bathrooms were clean as well. So....all of this was a 5-star experience. The food was the disappointing part. However, I love Freddie's so will give this place another chance/try.

Read moreWhat started as a good customer service experience took a turn for the worst. I ordered the new grilled cheese steak burger combo and a kids meal in the drive thru. I opened my grilled cheese steak burger and noticed the bread had not been toasted (like grilled cheese) as it had been the time before when I ordered it. I went back through the drive thru the lady at the window said I could come back in to have it remade. I asked if I could do drive thru amd asked me to pull around. I coukd see from the window when she mentioned it to the man who I would guess made my meal. He pulled his gloves off and threw them down and looked upset. I tried explaining it and even mentioned to him he looked upset. He tried telling me it was bc he just got there it was about 10:40. I explained and showed him that the bread was not toasted like I had received it before and as pictured on the menu. He continues to tell me that is how the steackburger is made (not toasted like the one I received) he reluctantly offed to make it the way I wanted it but that was not how it is normally made.
