The Foxxhole House — Restaurant in Timpson

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. We pass through Timpson periodically but had never stopped at The Foxxhole House before today.

I had a cheesburger and onion rings. Some restaurants offer “designer” burgers with different cheeses and fancy toppings. This was not one of those places, and it was so refreshing. This was a great cheeseburger with fresh ingredients and fresh bread In all the right proportions. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had. The onion rings were very good as well.

My wife loved her Chicken Fried Steak sandwich, which also tasted fresh and was not greasy.

We’ll be stopping here again and...

Just moved to town and getting to try the place was hit or miss a couple of times but we kept trying. Have eaten here a few times now and everything we're have tried was wonderful. Staff was friendly and space was clean. Was lucky enough to get a sample of the ribs right when they came off the grill and I would highly suggest going here on Fridays if I recall correctly to get some!...

Outstanding food made from the heart. It's not typical restaurant food. It's homemade food, the very best prepared and served by some wonderful ladies. At The Foxhole House, the Special is honestly special. I loved this restaurant and I look forward to soul food Sunday. Thinkin I better get there early before the Special is all gone.
