Reyna's — Restaurant in Tinton Falls

Best Mexican food in the area. Everything is made to order. The ingredients are always fresh and cooked to perfection. Nothing is sitting out for long. Chris is super kind and always remembers my orders. The portions are huge and well worth the price. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. This is a must try if you're in the area. My family & friends love this place. There is no other Mexican restaurant in the area that even compares with their quality of food.

My recommendation is PLAN AHEAD. They get VERY busy at times so there can be a longer wait but planning ahead avoids any issues. Chris only seems rude because she has a small staff and she needs to keep things moving. Time is money in her business so sometimes she doesn't have time to be on the phone for 20 minutes while you ask a dozen questions or decide what to eat. Same goes for eating in the restaurant, get there early and look at the menu before. You won't be forgotten about, but she has other customers so you can't be the #1 priority every minute. I would give this restaurant negative stars for customers service if I could. After doing a few songs at Twin Lights Brewery (Great Place) we went here for a meal based on a recommendation. At 7:30 the restaurant was crowded with one table for 4 open. There was no noticeable sign saying please wait to be seated and noticing other tables for 4 with 2 people we decided to seat ourselves. The owner/manager then rudely and kinda loud (many of the diners were distracted by her outbursts),asked if we had a reservation. When we replied no she said we could wait in the front and she would seat us in 10 minutes. When I looked around and saw nobody was close to finishing their meals we walked out! No matter how good your food is(now I’ll never know) customer service is key to a good dining experience especially, in a strip mall with at least 1/2 dozen other dining options! This place is legit! They've been around forever... I've been going here for at least 10 years.

The prices have gone up to the point that it's a bit pricey but I actually think the quality has improved as well. Whereas the rest of the restaurant world these days tries to skimp on portions and quality, the food here is stupidly delicious and portions are insane - enough to take home some yummy leftovers! They still give you free chips & salsa too!

It's small and intimate inside and the staff is always attentive and pleasant. The decor feels pretty authentic (as far as I call tell) and it's BYOB with a decent liquor store 3 stores down in the same strip mall.

Call ahead to give a heads-up for a large party. Other than possibly having to wait due to the venue size, there's not a chance you will regret going to eat here. There's a reason I keep going back after all...
