We recently tied the knot this incredible local brewery, and let me tell you, it was ale we could have ever dreamed of! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a brew-tiful day. The reception space was absolutely hopping with charm, and it was the perfect setting for our celebration. We booked out a private event for about an ~80 person wedding. While we had our ceremony in a different venue (AKA our local church with our pastor), we held the reception at TLB.
My husband and I have personally always found the staff as accommodating, making sure everything went smoothly as a perfectly poured pint. One of the reasons we picked TLB as our venue was because they’re known for being dog-friendly and child-friendly, and as a mom to a human toddler and a fur baby, that was a MUST! Fur baby stayed elsewhere, but we feel at ease knowing he’s welcome there any time.
Our guests were all buzzing about the fantastic selection of craft beers. Each one was a hop-py surprise. Not to mention the seltzers! The IPAs had everyone toasting to our happiness! They don’t serve dine-in food at the brewery, but we were able to bring in our own catering, and they were very flexible with that. On regular nights, AKA Friday evenings for Karaoke Night when it isn’t our wedding, we usually grab a few beers and enjoy Mexican food from the place a few doors down.
In all, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue to start our life together. Our hearts (and glasses) are full, and we will forever be grateful for the lager-than-life experience you provided. Cheers to you and your team for making our day so brew-tifully...
Read moreI booked a party at this venue as my husband and his friends buy some of this beer, but in doing so sadly, I was totally blindsided. It was a fun night until it was time to pay the bill. I signed a contract for 20 people but, an additional $100 was added to my bill at the end of the night as “they counted more people” during the course of the night. (FYI, 2 were also my young grandchildren!) I signed the contract with Will for 20 people with only a few tables reserved, so the brewery was still open to the public. But, Nickey the bartender, “counted” more than 20 people during the night so my bill was increased by $100 without my knowing or agreement. Some friends from work stopped by to surprise him later in the evening but, we paid for their beer accordingly. The brewery did not just get their extra per person charge as they would have liked I guess!? All I have asked for them to do is return the $100 difference the “custom” charge), but they refuse to do so. I really don’t know how they knew who were our people and who were the public that came in that night as we were mixed amongst tables too. Just a heads up that a signed contract does not mean anything here, sadly. They need to learn good business practices and customer satisfaction. Go in for a beer but, don’t...
Read moreWent there today at 11:15 there door was open and a sign on the walk with a balloon and as I walked through the door a woman approached me barking we are closed! As I tried to express my enjoyment of them being open and wanted to welcome them she said "Come Back At 12" and held the door open for me. as I walked away she took down the sign and locked the door. In your face rude was my first experience there so I wont be back. I live around the corner and am in that shopping center daily but wont be going to Twin Lights now with the constant memory of my first visit.
In response to owner; Customer Service is first and foremost, you couldn't give me a minute of your time on the 2nd day you opened instead ushered me out the door. I said "to look around" to state my intent upfront not expecting anything more out of respect. I watched your taped up windows for months looking forward to your opening and the first words I hear is get out. Common Courtesy wins...
