I had a very unpleasant experience at Rocco's Pizzeria. It was not open yet, and I wasn't getting food there. I was sitting with my dog on the deck surrounding Rocco's one morning, waiting for my family, as they were grabbing drinks at a nearby coffee shop. A man suddenly burst through a side door near the pizza place, and I am assuming it was the owner of Rocco's himself. He immediately started lecturing me in an aggressive tone about how my dog was not allowed on the deck. He barely let me get an apology in as he just about chased me off the deck. He continued to go off about how allowing dogs in outdoor areas costs extra money for him (not true), and how he doesn't like dogs, so I needed to leave immediately. The interaction was completely unnecessary. I would have gladly walked away with no issue if he had approached me in a friendlier manner. I understand pets are not allowed within food preparation areas, but I had no idea that included outdoor spaces. I used to enjoy Rocco's Pizza, but I will not be returning after this incident. Read moreI’ve made a grave mistake and left a negative review for Rocco’s, a place I had never even been to. In a nutshell, my review was intended for another establishment, and NOT Rocco’s Pizzeria. They weren’t even open for business when I stopped by. Read moreIf you’re placing a large order, make sure to triple check your order. When I arrived for my scheduled pickup one pie was missing even though I confirmed my entire order on the phone. I get that mistakes happen however I was met with little empathy from the younger woman working the register and that is frustrating after spending $200 for a family dinner… a simple “the ticket says 5 pizzas not 6” was the response. Lastly, I was told it would be 10 minutes for the missing pizza to be made. 22 minutes later I was told only a few more minutes. I asked for a refund...
