Barney’s BakeHouse Bakery — Restaurant in Tittabawassee Township

I made an order for 6 Paczki back in February for pickup March 4. Vehicle was in the shop that day and I tried calling several times, they never answer their phones. So the next day, March 5, I left Carrollton Twp and drove to the bakery cause online said they were open. Got there and there was no one in sight, dark inside. So as I sat there I tried calling both locations(7:33am, 7:59am and 8:02am) and again no answer so I was able to leave a voicemail. They left me a voicemail back at 4:55pm. Saying they had my order and would be open until 6pm. So again, I headed back out there at 5:03 arrived at 5:25pm, again, no one there. Sat there looking in the dark bakery, no cars in lot and tried calling both locations. Now the recording says the same thing as the new sign added to door, they are closed Wednesday and Thursday so the employees can recoup. Can’t leave a message either. So why did you leave me a messag Saying you’d be there till 6 on Wednesday if you weren’t. Waisted my time and gas twice. SHAME ON YOU. Won’t happen again, just give my refund back to my card. I went to the new Bay City location yesterday and got an assortment of baked goods. I got a red velvet tower cake, carrot cake tower cake, 2 different cheesecake bites, Almond Joy cookie and a chocolate chip cheesecake sandwich cookie. None of it was very good. It was all bland and had an odd undercooked texture. We were disappointed to say the least. I was excited and hopeful that Bay City would have a good bakery. I watch on Facebook your adds and the food that you were providing. Everything looked delicious I finally I was able to get in during your business hours and was pleasantly surprised of the staff pleasant welcome into the shop and the clean condition of the shop. I have determine that if I lived closer that I would be a regular customer and Broke trying all that they have.
