Log Cabin Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Tittabawassee Township

It's a bar...duh, but just making sure you get that right off the bat! They do have quite a menu with lots of options though, not just typical bar food.

I ordered the fried mushrooms with a beer. I did ask for a frosted glass, or at least a cold glass, but was only served the bottle. The mushrooms were ok but definitely tasted like "old grease".

We wanted to sit outside but of course Michigan weather didn't permit that. So inside was quite busy and noisy. It was hard to have a conversation with our table of 8. Plus I believe you could only smoke outdoors (I'm not a smoker) so I guess I'm glad I didn't sit outside.

Parking is tight, especially if you come at a busy time. I had to park next door at the strip mall but was nervous the whole time since they have signs posted no parking. But I assumed that meant during business hours which we were there after 5 pm.

Decor is pretty much typical bar decor....beer signs, advertisement poster, etc.

Prices were ok. For my mushrooms and beer I paid about $9 (with tax).

Probably won't go again unless our group decides to visit...

The food was good. However the waitress Lisa has HORRID customer service and was absolutely rude to a customer about a mistake she clearly made. I have NEVER heard a waitress speak to a respectful paying customer with so much disrespect and not have a single thing done or said about it. The bar/restaurant is small and at noon on normalday,no one is yelling or raising their voice so everybody heard the "situation". The manager was pointed out to me by a different staff member and she was not even 10 feet behind us looking our direction. Did she come approach us to solve the problem or see what she could do to make everyone happy? NO. I was told to call the other manager who is the owner is the morning because apparently that manager is "very cranky quite often". Obviously their is a huge employee issue going on here, going all the way up to the manager. The food is great and the Log Cabin is such a wonderful establishment in Freeland; but sad to say I will take my buisness elsewhere from now on because of how a waitress not even our...

1st and LAST time! Service was BEYOND bad!! Wife, son, and I all ordered at same time. Son’s food came out within minutes. Took 45 minutes more for my wife and I’s food (not an exaggeration) Both got Chicken Philly’s, both were very bland and under seasoned. I got Fries which were EXTREMELY over salted. Wife’s silverware pouch was two knives and no fork. Son waited over 10 minutes just to get a refill of water. No follow up or apologies to say that it was taking so long for our food. To top it all off they charged us extra for using a credit card. I’m sorry but it’s 2025, your credit card fees are your problem learn how to manage your costs and gross margins to cover those costs. And while not the restaurants fault, the experience was made worse by a guy who literally couldn’t go one sentence without dropping a F bomb right next to us.
