Walked in, seated by the front door. Fans above the tables made it a bit chilly and were blowing napkins off the table. Wasn't offered to sit by the river view although didn't look full. We were only given brunch menus and almost left because there was like 5 or 6 items only, of which didn't sound like what we were craving. Servers would gather at the door, near where we were seated and I could easily overhear them talking trash about patrons. Server finally made her way to our table and I asked if this was all they had for menu options and she told me they actually did have a full size menu so she got us one. Got the smoked chicken Philly and a smash burger. Burger wasn't great nor was it bad. No where i would ever recommend for either. The philly was a poor excuse for one. Hardly any meat. The bread in my opinion is the wrong choice, both as in it is not a sub style and there was too much bread vs the hardly any filling. Good bread but way more suited for like a Cuban sandwich. Chicken did not taste smoked at all. They used a decent smoke flavored sauce but again, not a Philly. Pretty sure it was a chipotle sauce. They should really rename this sandwich, very misleading and disappointing. Maybe even take if off the menu because it's not good. Fries were okay. Both got seasoned. Nothing to rave about, just a decent fry. After we finished eating, I had waited at least 20 mins for my bill. Our server was apparently the bartender too and I overheard her say she was a slow bartender to someone else. Then a group of 9 walked in who ordered drinks and she took forever making them. I asked the girl at the door who was eating out of a to go container if I had to come up for the bill and she said no, your server is busy and she will get to you. About 5 mins later, same girl ended up bringing me my bill and went back to eating at the desk only for me to interrupt her again to cash out. Really bad service. Lame atmosphere for a newer place. Rude employees. If you're going to talk bad about customers, do it in the back. Food not great. Don't...
Read moreFirst, the All American burger was great! However, she failed to mention that it’s two patties. It does not say that on the menu. I don’t need two patties. Second, the waitress said, and what would you like for your sides? We assumed this was part of the meal, we were wrong. That is an up charge for two dollars each. When she brought the appetizer, which were boneless wings, they had no sauce. When we asked for some blue cheese, and some ranch, we were charge $.75 apiece for the sauce. When my husband’s buffalo ranch wrap came, he didn’t have enough sauce so he asked for some blue cheese and some of the hot sauce mix., because it was so dry. Those were an additional $.75 each. I sent my macaroni and cheese back, because it was not that good, and I had paid two dollars for. Never taken off my bill. our server acted like she was new and didn’t know if she was supposed to tell people when they were getting up charged. We live locally and would only come here in a pinch given the price that we paid for a burger, an appetizer, and a chicken wrap....
Read moreStopped for a couple beers and bite after work. The setup has potential with some garage door style windows and doors to open when the weather allows. They have an outdoor area with lots of potential and I'll be interested to see what they do with it. Place was only about 1/2 full when I was there but noticed it could get pretty loud even with that. The food - I got the pork belly and it was great. Ordered the hot honey pizza to go and it seems like they forgot the hot honey so that was a bummer. I'd suggest a board on the wall to write the beer list on, or small printed lists, the barcode scan didn't really work so the waitress had to stand there and show me the beer list on her iPad and that was kinda awkward. Service was great, they were very friendly and stopped by often. Also suggest a couple more TVs in the back area but again the setup has...
