Wife and I ate at El Heredero Mexican Food, 3486 S. Hopkins Ave in Titusville for the second time since they opened. Hands down, the best Mexican food in Brevard county. Their food truck was always awesome, but now they have their restaurant the food is even better, and they have more menu choices. Last time we had the chimichanga, birria tacos, and queso blanco and chips, which was delicious. Today we had the Pollo Mexicano (grilled chicken, onions and peppers), lunch trio (taco, enchilada, and burrito) both came with rice and beans and were very generous portions, we also got a small queso to go with the complimentary chips and salsa, tried the weekend special of Posole (delicious and huge - at least 2 more meals), and the most amazing churros I ever had for desert. All of the food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. They have homemade hot sauce that is hot and tasty. Our server was Kelsey and she was friendly and attentive. The owners checked on us several times and were very helpful. If you want the best fresh, delicious, Mexican food in Brevard county, short of being invited to a family dinner, make a beeline for El Heredero. For less than $60 dollars plus tip, we left stuffed with leftovers for at least a few more meals.

We visited the restaurant two or three days after opening day. The restaurant was born out of a food truck that was very successful locally. When we walked in we were told to sit where we pleased. The waitress came over and happily gave us our menus and complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the taco meal which came with 2 tacos and beans and rice. My wife ordered pollo mexicana with beans and rice. The food arrived fairly quickly. We, unfortunately, love New Mexico for it's excellent Mexican food and most Mexican restaurants we visit get evaluated based on those robust flavor profiles. The flavors we experienced at El Heredero's were in line with those high standards. Everything had loads of flavor. Even the beans and rice were well seasoned. The salsa was very savory without setting your mouth aflame. They are still new and the surface is slightly awkward so be prepared for that. Once they get settled in we will be regular visitors. Hopefully the high standards of flavor will continue! Highly recommend!

Man oh man is this place good! Everything we ordered was fantastic. We had the Chimichanga Burrito with carnitas, the California Burrito with al pastor, and the Birria Tacos. Oh, and, homemade horchata! Now we’ve only been once, so we will have to go a few more times to ensure they’re consistent but from our one experience, they’re easily the best Mexican restaurant in town. The burritos were FANTASTIC. Fresh, flavorful, fat. The meats were juicy and seasoned, the tortillas grilled, the cheese sauce was creamy with the perfect texture, and the portions were huge. The birria tacos were good as well, but the burritos were the standout. Horchata was also delicious. Aside from the mains, the chips and salsa were delicious. Tasty salsa. The rice and beans were also great, perfectly cooked and flavorful. Can’t say enough good things about this place. They are a welcomed departure from some of the generic Mexican restaurants in Titusville. They’re great, stop reading, to eat.

My dining experience at el Heredero was absolutely perfect. As a chef myself, I usually keep my expectations low as I’m almost never impressed or happy with a meal out. But El Heredero really hit it out of the park which I don’t say lightly.

Within 2 minutes from taking our seat, fresh hot complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were brought to the table. We ordered the guac (which was probably the best guac I’ve ever had at a restaurant), the carnita plate, and a custom vegan platter for my dad and sister (who are both vegans). Our server (who we later found out was the owner, Berto) was very attentive, friendly and accommodating, and made my family feel welcomed and cared for despite their dietary restrictions.

My carnita plate was incredible. The pork was tender, moist, flavorful and PLENTIFUL. The portion is enough for 3 meals… I ended up taking a ton home and can’t wait to eat it for lunch. The refried beans were without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. They need to package that up and sell it it’s so good.

My dad and sister both said it was the best meal on our 7 day road trip and it meant a lot to them they were made to feel like top tier diners, rather than a nuisance like the other places we visited.

All said and done, the whole bill came to just under $50.00 which was around $16.00 a person for dinner which is nothing! My only feedback would be to berto which would be to reduce his portions and increase his prices to truly reflect the value of the food they create as it’s worth a lot more than they’re charging currently.

All in all, wether you’re looking for a quick bite for lunch, a casual sit down dinner, or take out, El Heredero is THE...

I ordered the birria quesasilla along with beans and rice. The quesadilla was excellent all across the board from the ingredients to the quality of cookedness lol. It was delicious i wouldve taken photos if i brought my phone. It also happened to come with a fairly tastey salsa sorta soup sauce. Added some extra flavoring as well.

Im REALLY picky about refried beans. Often mexican resturaunts either do poorly with them or just dont do them well at all. Not in this case imo. The beans were excellent and so was the rice they came with.

My meal was very well done and delicious overall. The service was equally as great my server was friendly and attentive. He took care of a lot of tables too. Man deserves a raise lol he served me everything that i asked for of course and honestly they left no room for error in my opinion.

The store is small but the atmosphere is good. Your standard mexican style atmosphere. I appreciate the decor.

Overall the price matches the quality especially compared to what some other mexican resturaunts offer.

If youre still considering where to eat look no further. This place, i attest, will not disappoint.

Try the nachos.

Edit: had diahrrea immediately afterwards. Not entirely sure what the exact culprit was but anyone can put 2 and 2 together. It was my first experience so ill let it slide....
