Coming to a small town that we’ve never been to before makes one a little reluctant trying new places, but that never happens with us, we Love Eating Local and when we saw Titusville Mill and read some history of the building, we were very Excited. From the moment we walked onto the porch and were Greeted with a Big Smile from the Hostess, we knew it was going to be fun. A Historic Grain Mill refurbished to a Beautiful Restaurant and Pub with Indoor and Outdoor (covered) Dining, don’t forget the B&B Rooms. Laina was our server and she was Absolutely AMAZING, from every suggestion she made and she answered any questions we had about menu items. The Brussel Sprouts were really delicious and not over cooked (well done) Our Burgers were tasty The Brisket Gouda was a “Smash” with both of us and as well as the Mill Burger, loved the pickles. The kids menu was also nice with a good variety. But let’s get to Dessert, WOW!!! In a culinary world where many restaurants just thaw something out from a Silysco or U.S. Foods Truck ( no offense to them) when you hear “Homemade” you’ve got to be On Point. The Cheesecake NAILED IT!!! Absolutely PERFECT!!! And the addition of their homemade cherries I’d take the Pepsi Challenge (old school reference) against NYC Cheesecakes with theirs. Take time to enjoy the entire place, the bar is really cool and the bartender was a Really Chill Entertaining Guy. Laina thanks for your Amazing Service You ROCK!!! Chef, Great Job by you and your staff. Definitely Make The Titusville Mill a Culinary Bucket List if you are...
Read moreI’ve been a handful of times but my most recent visit was disappointing. I paid $15.00 for an Italian salad that was maybe 1 1/2 handfuls of lettuce and toppings. The plate made it look like it was a good sized salad but it’s not. It tasted good even though they didn’t put the pepperoni on it, however it didn’t taste good enough to justify the $15.00. My mom got this same thing but decided to add chicken to hers which costs an extra $10.00. Ten dollars to add a small grilled chicken breast is absurd to me. That’s a $25.00 salad. Including both of our drinks, our bill came to about $50. They use fresh ingredients and it shows, but I don’t see why a small salad with cherry tomatoes, olives, cheese, and pepperoncini should cost $15.00.
I included two pictures of the salad. One picture was after I received the plate, and the other was with my fork to show that the layer of lettuce was very thin.
My other main complaint is the menu size. I completely understand focusing on less menu items so that you can perfect what you offer, but it’s not a friendly menu for anyone with dietary restrictions at all. It’s tiny. My dad doesn’t eat meat so his options have been either French fries or a salad every time he comes here which is the same thing he can get at any other place. We end up having to dissect the menu and modify the crap out of anything in order for him to have an actual meal here.
Overall I would probably come back here but maybe after some time once their menu changes for the season or if they have a special that piques...
Read moreOur first time there. The menu was very limited. We went for the prime rib which looked delicious in the picture, but is only available first Saturday of the month. Would've like to know that beforehand. No salad or bread with your entree. We ordered side salads that were ok, but huge pieces of lettuce/greens and we had different dressings and both were very watery. The brisket Mac n cheese was quite good, but my crab Alfredo was light on the crab and mostly barely cooked broccolini. My husband couldn't get a Southern Comfort Manhatten, so settled for an IPA beer which was ok. I ordered a Bacardi rum n coke, no Bacardi, so settled for a plain rum.was served a weird spiced rum that I couldn't drink. Ordered a vodka n coke, but it tasted like a very harsh vodka. Not a good drink. The cheesecake for dessert was very good. Our server,Lindsey, was excellent and we enjoyed her. The atmosphere was nice-roomy, clean, and quiet. Lots of free parking. For the price we paid ($90 without tip), we were a bit disappointed. We were using a gift card for The Mill, but were charged a $2.50 fee for using it, plus another service fee to pay the balance on our own...
