My boyfriend and I both got the baseball cut streak with your choice of potato and “steamed” broccoli. We both got our steak medium and when I ctt into my steak it was most certainly rare more on the side of raw and the outside tasted like burnt shoe leather the broccoli was so undercooked that it might as well had not been cooked at all the fries and backed potato were good and the pretzels we ordered as an appetizer were great but we decided to order two pieces of cheesecake that I decided to pay for. When we got them they were no bigger than a width of two of my fingers and when going to pay with Apple Pay for the cheesecake there was no option not to tip I understand servers should be tipped but I was paying for the cheesecake to be nice as it was our anniversary and I am making very limited money right so what was $16.00 for two dinky pieces of cheesecake cake ended up being $20 witch I really can’t afford. Do better maybe get a better chef and some decent...
Read moreThis place is practically a museum, and I love it. I feel like there should be an option to pay someone to give a guided tour of everything you can see in this wonderful place. For now, though, I am thoroughly enjoying just looking around and seeing something new each time I go. They have an amazing selection of drink options. For food, they have The Magic Bus Kitchen. I have eaten a few times there now, and I have been very happy with everything that I've tried. I've also been to a few of the live music nights here, and they are the best hidden gem for live stage music that I've been to so far. The sound quality was great, with a nice volume balance. The staff are always patient and friendly. If you haven't checked out The Ironworks yet, I highly recommend doing so. Better yet, check out their listing of upcoming live music, and come enjoy great music at a...
Read moreNear the South Franklin Street Bridge sits a large venue that looks like an old warehouse. The iron works tap house is quite large. Lots of space for bands and groupies. Lots to look at on the wall. VIP section looks like a great place to host a party. Lots of random couches and tables to park it at. They have a parking lot facing the bridge but I opted for illegal and by the rail road tracks. Hopefully I don't get towed or hit by a train. (Joking) Cosmopolitan review: not very good. Plastic cup but I understand because of the venue. Seems to be missing an ingredient. I watched the bartender pour titos and triple sec but only saw the gun fill with cranberry. Might say something. Alcohol is in it so ill survive. Bonus point for the bartender knowing it gets the lemon rind. Update: i asked for sours....
