Atlantic Sports Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Tiverton

Stopped in today for an early dinner, we had Dianna as our server, she was very nice and gave opinions and recommendations on the food. I was torn between the Pork & Little necks and The Pot Roast, but I was feeling like mashed potatoes so I went with the Pot Roast with mashed and a side of cucumbers and tomato salad, and hubby ordered the Meatloaf with mashed & broccoli. We also got the French Onion Soup to start. The wait wasn't very long and out came the soup, cute little crocks smothered in cheese, The Onions were perfectly cooked and quite a lot, the broth was delicious and that crock was deceiving as it held a lot more than we thought. While we were just about finished with soup the entrees came, great presentation, I wish I had taken pictures but I was drooling to much to wait to dig in :D The Pot roast was 4 slices nice and tender on a bed of mashed potatoes smothered in a beautiful tomato beef based gravy with a Portuguese twist. it was DELICIOUS!!! the side of cucumber and tomatoes was in a light oil and vinegar dressing, nice and refreshing! Hubby's Meatloaf also was great presentation, 4 nice slices of meatloaf that had been toasted on the flat top and then topped with mushrooms and a brown mushroom gravy, with a side of redskin mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked broccoli. He loved it. We unfortunately had no room for dessert as we were absolutely stuffed. Great portions here! Talked with the owner who was very nice and told her we would return and that we loved her Pot Roast recipe. it was by far one of the best I have had, kind or a Swiss steak meets pot roast with a Portuguese flavor. Can't wait to go back and try the Little necks!!! Next time I will review and add photo's !!...

I recently visited this restaurant and had an extremely unpleasant experience that I would not recommend to anyone. After we were seated and ordered our drinks and appetizers, the owner had a grown man rolling around a 3-year-old in a toy car, making loud, obnoxious car sounds throughout the dining area. This created a disruptive and chaotic atmosphere that made it very difficult to enjoy our meal.

When we politely discussed the noise level amongst ourselves, the owner immediately told the man to stop. However, this only led to the staff giving us dirty looks and staring at us aggressively. The owner then approached our table and accused us of making her uncomfortable, claiming this was not the right restaurant for us because we were not okay with the staff's rude behavior and the loud noises.

To make matters worse, one of the waitresses then came over and started yelling at us. She even followed us outside, dancing and giving us the middle finger. This level of unprofessional and confrontational conduct from the staff is completely unacceptable.

On top of the awful customer service, the food itself was only mediocre. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I strongly advise others to find a different restaurant that provides a more pleasant dining experience. This was the worst restaurant experience I...

Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Went in while it wasn’t too busy and the owner had a grown man rolling around a 3 year old in a toy car while making loud, obnoxious car sounds around the restaurant. We were talking about how loud it was amongst ourselves when the owner told the man to stop. we suddenly started getting dirty looks from the staff, stared at by the owner and rest of staff and loudly talked about. After we got the check the owner took it upon herself to come over ask if we had a problem, accused US of making her uncomfortable and told us this wasn’t the restaurant for us because we weren’t ok with being given dirty looks by the entire staff or listening to a grown man making screeching car noises while we’re trying to eat… then to top it all off had one of the waitresses come over yelling at us then followed us outside to dance while giving us the finger. I will never give this establishment my business again and highly suggest everyone else to find a different spot. terrible service for mediocre food
