I have been doing all my special events at Primavera/Spring since I got married almost 26 years ago I had my wedding reception there all my kids Baptism parties and my grandkids Baptisms. In October we had my grandsons Baptism there and I spoke with the owner about having my daughters wedding there. Carminda the owner said yeah sure I will mark it down on the calendar and as long as I had 180 people I could have the private room. Fast forward to May 2021 covid is over and restrictions are lifted all of a sudden they no longer want to do private events on Saturday night so my choices were to change the wedding date to a Friday or Sunday if I wanted it private or to have it not private which was unacceptable because I already had the church, photo booth, DJ and Photographer booked so that left me to look for another venue 4 months before the wedding. I feel that they were very unprofessional if they had changed their policy they should have at least honored the commitments they already had booked. Maybe been a little apologetic or offered a discount for the inconvieniece but nope nothing. We had a 26 year friendship that they just flushed down the toilet. I will NEVER give them another Penny of our money. We did find another Venue that we booked today, Thank God because it was very short notice but with a little determination we are back on track with the wedding planning. When I posted this on Facebook she lied and pretty much blamed me that I didn't put down a deposit my mother and I offered to give her a deposit it contract but because she said no need until I called her out on Facebook. She is full of shut!! my brother just had his sons baptism there he signed no contract she is just trying to deflect the blame away from her and her restaurant. If your thinking of having an event at this restaurant save yourself the hassle and...
Read moreHorrible service, I think it’s a job requirement to be rude in order to work here. From start to finish this place was rude as h3ll! Had a baptism and they wouldn’t do chicken tenders because they said I had “too many kids” (21 kids), I would have to be charged full price for chicken tenders and fries! I called to give a count and the guy who answered told me to call back “because he was busy”, then the lady calls saying I never called to give a count. They kept telling the kids to sit down so I took them to the stairs area so they were out of the way and another employee comes to tell them not to touch the curtain, the owner tells me to move guests from a table so there were less tables so I do and the other waiter comes with drinks to that table and I told him no we don’t need it here and he says well it’s too late, I already put them down. They were constantly on the kids about everything, they are kids! They will never get my business again! I rather pay more money then have my guests feel uncomfortable. Many guests were complaining about how rude they were.
I write a review on their Facebook page and rather than trying to correct the problem or just take it on the chin, the owner CALLS me the next day and tells me to get my facts straight and if I want kids to hang on curtains to have them hang on mine at home. Then hangs up the phone on me. (They were not even hanging on the curtains as I was the one with them and there were only 3 of the kids in that area!) Rude A$$ b!tch! Never ever again will I step foot in that place!
Addendum: (3 days after party) I received a missed call from an unknown number so I call the number back and it was the owner of the restaurant calling me again from her personal phone and she just hung up. If they don't like what you have to say they...
Read moreMy friend and I had a very scary and upsetting experience with this place. We were going to the cafe across the street. There are two parking lots on either side of the cafe. One is for the cafe, one is for this restaurant. We accidentally parked in the restaurant lot as we simply saw the cat cafe sign. When we got out of the car we saw the restaurant only parking sign and turned back to move our car. As we were turning around, a strange man began belligerently screaming from the restaurant. I turned around, petrified to see a man flailing his arms and walking quickly towards us. He was enraged, and almost incoherent. All I know is I heard the term “tow” multiple times. We were essentially frozen in shock for a few moments, but when realization kicked in we ran to our car as he continued coming closer. Bear in mind we are both young women, being confronted by an extremely irate, screaming man. It was very scary. To be clear, I am not bothered by the parking, this is about the uncalled for verbal abuse we endured over a PARKING SPACE. Based on other reviews, it’s likely this man is the owner of the restaurant, although it seems his main function is to verbally harass people who park in the wrong lot? It’s seems he is known for having a very “entitled bully” attitude, and responds to these complaints in that manner. So you can save it on this one, I won’t be reading the response as it is clear you never feel you’ve done anything wrong. Just know that this is not normal behavior and not how to speak to people. I recommend anger management. That’s not me being snarky, I genuinely believe this man has issues that need to be...
