Usually i would love this place. I’ve lived near it for 7+ years now and go here pretty frequently. I didn’t go here for about a year and a half and everything has changed. The menus are brand new and they’ve steered more clear from being a breakfast place and more like an everything place. Now offering a lot more food options than they did which isn’t always bad i agree.
My Fiancé and i ordered the hangover which is biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese. My Fiancé asked to change the style of the egg instead of scrambled to over easy and they charged us $1.00 per egg (it came with two eggs) so $2.00 charged to change the style that we had no idea would happen???
Water is tap water in stained cups, juice is not bottomless which is understandable but at $4.00 a glass?? Gravy seemed to be a pre packaged gravy mixed with that same tap water and you could definitely taste the tap water. Waitress was nice, not very interactive though.
Took about 45 minutes to be in and out so not bad for a sit down experience. Spent about $30 for two people...
Read moreThis is exactly what you want from a diner. Both the front of house and the back of house are focused on one goal: providing excellent service and phenomenally tasting food. This was the first diner that I've gone to that offered Hollandaise as a sauce option. They have some type of a French Skillet bowl with home fries and eggs and sausage topped with Hollandaise.
The kitchen crew always smiles at me whenever I pass to the restroom. These are some of the most kind and hardest working people on the face of the Earth. This restaurant is within walking distance of my house and I like to take my son with me every other weekend to enjoy some time together and a nice hot meal.
This is my favorite diner in all of greater Toledo. You will not be disappointed if you eat here even if your expectations...
Read moreThis was our first visit to Executive Diner and it was awesome. I ordered the Hangover, which was two biscuits covered in scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, and sausage gravy. I also got a side of homefries. My meal was very good, and the portion size was large. My husband ordered the Mediterranean skillet and he really enjoyed the flavor of the gyro meat. They were very busy but our service was still incredible and the food came out at a reasonable time. Our waitress was attentive and nice. We didn’t have to wait for a table, but the other parties that had to wait didn’t wait for very long. I felt like the prices were good. We only paid about $26 before tip and we were both stuffed. We will definitely need to return to try their lunch menu...
