Mango Thai — Restaurant in Toledo

I was excited when Mango Thai opened at the mall – my first visit was great! The food was delicious, and I thought I’d found a new favorite spot. However, my second experience was so uncomfortable that I’m not sure I’d recommend it to anyone until they address their customer service issues.

On my recent visit, I ordered a small plate, only to find out at the register that the worker had prepared and charged me for a larger, more expensive combo without my consent. When I clarified that I’d only ordered a small plate, he responded, “I can put some of the food back,” with a dismissive attitude and zero remorse, making it incredibly awkward. It felt like I was being pressured to just go along with it, and as a college student on a tight budget, I really couldn’t afford to just "go with the flow." The worker’s attitude was snarky and unprofessional, and the lack of respect made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

I was honestly angered by the experience. No one deserves to be treated that way, and I wouldn’t recommend Mango Thai to anyone until they can ensure that their staff treats customers with respect...

Every time I get Mango Thai the serving portions get smaller. On 2 different occasions I purchased combo 1, both times the chicken was hard and crunchy. When I complained to the woman that served me she acted like she didn't understand what I was saying and ignored me. The man that was there didn't intervene. I wasn't asking for a refund I was just asking for some chicken that wasn't burnt hard and crunchy. Today my granddaughter who works at Franklin Park mall brought mango Thai home for our Valentine dinner again the portion was so small and my grandaughter was overcharged for the combo 1.I won't be returning ever again. Mango Thai was delicious and had great portions when they first opened, now every time I purchase the combo 1 the woman that serves me charges me for a combo 2. It's pointless to argue about being over charged for the combo 1, the woman ignores me every time. If your prices have changed you should change the price on...

My kids love this place . I took them here several times and had no issue. I went today and the lady worker that rings you out was extremely rude. She got a attitude related to me asking about kid size cups and her giving my 11 yr old a large drink. This business is definitely not kid friendly, but is located inside the mall of all places! She then rang me out and refused to hand me my food! Dont worry about it lady! You lost some money you need to send to your family back home with your unnecessarily directed snarky...
