We drove 30 minutes to order takeout from this restaurant. It was pretty crowded when we got there around 6:30 pm on a Tuesday. The menu has a good variety of food. I wish I had done more research because the sushi menu is limited. That said, the spicy salmon roll was very good. The yellow tail roll was good but not great. The Chirashi bowl was good, too. The quality of the raw fish was slightly better than average. We returned 30 minutes after ordering to pick up the food, but it wasn't ready yet. So we sat at an empty table to wait. When the young girl brought our food, I asked her if there was soy sauce in the bag. She said yes and walked off. I asked my wife to check the bag and guess what was not in the bag? Soy sauce!! So , we had to grab a Styrofoam container and pour some soy sauce. Imagine driving 30 minutes back to the hotel and have no soy sauce for your sushi. Big ding in my book. Just like the F you at the drive-through, they also F you at the counter!! Always check your order...

Sushi is killer, you would think that being a small restaurant in the heart of a college campus would result in sub-par food, or lack of authenticity. I assure you, that could not be further from the truth.
Sushi is expertly hand rolled, I have never had a bad meal here, never a bad piece of fish, never a bad cup of soup. The Authenticity of this place is wonderful, when you order a stone bowl bibimbap, you get exactly that, a HUGE stone bowl.
Portions of non sushi items are very generous and filling, However with the sushi there is some left to be desired, coming in at $11.95 for a roll that doesn't contain a huge amount of sushi when compared to some of the other sushi joints around here.
All that being said, definitely a great sushi restaurant, with a convenient location and good food. But there a few better...
Read moreI have been here with my son a handful of times. He goes to the University of Toledo, and this is near campus (easily walking distance, in my opinion) The food has always been fresh and warm (I say that as opposed to sushi in stores I buy that are in coolers😉👍)..... There are many choices, and all look sooo mouth watering. My son loves it and would probably eat her daily if he had the means. My only request would be if they incorporated gift cards. I knew his freshman year that would be a great "stocking stuffer" and even recommended it to other family members..... only to find out they didn't have them (this has been at least a year and a half ago, so that "possibly has changed") OH!!! and not open Sundays, which is o.k., I am all for a day of rest, just was too bad for me when I dropped him off from weekends home😄 HIGHLY recommend stopping in! (It seems to...
