I was recommended to try the red chile burrito here, so here we go. I invited my family out for this one, it was a three cars meeting up. It was empty when I arrived, and the staff seemed a little pushy about ordering, probably because there wasnāt anyone else there. I let them know it was our first time. I already knew what I wanted, but the rest of the group needed to show up and have time to check out the menu.
They have lots of options, though sadly, no appetizers section. I love the whole āpick at a few appetizers, then take the rest homeā experience. They do offer complimentary chips and salsa. I preferred the red over the green, but it was a bit watered down.
I ordered the Red Chile Burrito, it was okay. Plenty of shredded red beef, but I personally prefer more chile than meat. The salsa was decent, though I needed to add a little salt. The rice was delicious, and the beans were good too.
They donāt offer free refills, and thereās no soda fountain, just cans. But they do have agua frescas, and those come with cheaper refills than soda, which is a plus.
The staff was very polite and attentive. Even though it was slow, we never felt forgotten, which I appreciated.
Now for the best part: I came for the burrito, but I loved the sopes! I usually donāt like restaurant chorizo; go ahead and judge me, but I prefer the pork chorizo from the tube over the brick-style stuff. Most places make it too dry. But their Chorizo Sope, easily my favorite! If I ever crave a chorizo sope, Iād definitely come back just for two of those with rice and beans. The burrito has officially left the chatāfor me, at Irmaās.
Thanks for a...

Only had one lady taking orders and service was horrible. There was no one there but us. She took fist half of table 5 of them got their drinks then put in their food order in then a couple came in she helped them and we still the other 15 people with no drinks or taken order. Then she got the next 4 set people drinks and food order gave the 1st 5 people their food. Then moved on to the next 4 it was about 630 and the last group of 8 people still didn't have drinks or food order taken yet. She kept forgetting to take the orders and attending to the first tables. I asked if she needed help she said no. So everyone else was done eating and we still had to wait for the last 8 people to get their drinks and food order. finally maybe 7pm food shows up. Just horrible organizing but the food was good. Maybe get another person to help you especially when you knew the big party coming in or teach that one person how to serve. We know now just go to another restaurant they know how to handle large...

This place pops up, lookin like a mom and pop shop, when we pulled in, because of the area I almost felt like we were going to either die of food poisoning, or have the best and most delicious food we've ever experienced. So we go in, sit down, this nice lady comes up takes our orders and scampers back to the kitchen. I continue the conversation with my friend, and look through the window into the kitchen only to realize our server was pulling down pans!! She was our chef too! Immediately I knew we were about to feel like we were guests in her house with a piping out home cooked meal in front of us! WOW were we ever blown away!! It was so good, we will 10/10 be back, and my friend also said that the dish they got, they discovered in Mexico recently, and when they had it here they felt like they were transported back to Mexico....
