Our group of 6 visited for lunch on a Friday as we were passing through town. With plenty of street parking to be found early to mid-day, we opted for The Break Room to fill our empty feedbags. We sat at a high top table that could accommodate us but found the fans and air conditioning was too cold for some of us so we relocated to 2 somewhat adjacent tables, thus we had to break our group up. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to sit together. Granted, we could have asked for some ceiling fans to be turned off but there were a few customers present, as well as staff, and they may have enjoyed the cooler air. We were promptly greeted by friendly staff and we ordered our drinks as we perused the menu. The burgers and wraps we ordered were good and typical. I was slightly disappointed that my Mushroom and Cheese burger did not have the standard lettuce, tomato, onions as my bride ordered the exact same burger and hers received the published accompaniments. Make no mistake, my burger was good as it was so I made no mention of it to the server, who actually did a great job taking care of us. The sweet potato fries were skinny and I actually enjoyed the bites I tasted from another plate. The homemade chips that were served with my naked burger were as good as one who would devour all of them would expect. While I failed to grab pictures of our meals, it was as good as bar food is expected to be. Especially when you are a famished, road weary traveller.

Visited Downtown Tomah and found this bar. It has a pool table and dart boards. The first time we visited, we were the only ones in the bar/grill, everyone ordered something different off the menu. The second day we came back to eat here and tried their burgers. Great food!! The waitress took care of us on Friday and on Saturday a different waitress took care of us. The people that work here are friendly and great to talk to. My family enjoyed coming here two days in a row. Definitely will come back for our next vacation.

The Break Room is a bit more than the local bar and grill. We had a gyro, gyro salad, and grilled chicken sandwich. They even had a newly created Prime Rib nachos that nearly took my pick. The food was better than expected. The new waitress was attentive and did her best to answer our questions. Better yet…when she couldn’t she attempted to seek out our inquiry. We had ciders to drink that were new to us and we couldn’t find them in the local spirits and wine location. The break room did us right!

Late night female bartender was unprofessional out of line and possibly the worst bartender I've ever seen she told us to leave because we were singing should seriously get rid of her and find a new one bec I read the reviews and this isn't the first one about her one bad review might be forgiven but multiple is grounds for dismissal in my opinion

I'd also like to add my opinion...my Name is Stacy Stella and I've been to the bar multiple times, usually during the day. I go to play darts and mind my own business. I've always thought the bartenders were very friendly and have never had a problem with any of them. Tonight I had to wait over 5 minutes for the bartender to get off her phone to which I felt like I was inconvenienceing her. I always have my own darts but tonight I didn't because it was last minute decision to stop and play. At first I wasn't sure she was going to let us use the bar darts but she did. The bartender yelled and was extremely rude to a young lady who was drunk.she yelled at her telling her she had to leave and find a way to get home. It was extremely uncalled for! She did not have to embarrass this girl like that. My friend who was with us helped her with calling a safe ride. When my friend returned back in the bar the bartender yelled at my friend saying it wasn't her place to help the girl who was drunk. I didn't know that being a decent caring human being was uncalled for. And makes me think what has happened in this world that treating someone so rudely was normal, and okay. The drunk girl wasn't bothering anyone and was sitting quietly at the bar on her phone when the bartender started screaming at her for no reason. The bartender was extremely rude to us the whole time as well. M aking remarks about us to other customers in the bar. My friend who was with us was listening to music on her phone it wasn't loud, just up enough for us to hear it. But after it got quiet in there the bartender heard it and she yelled at us to turn it off. My friend turned it off but started to sing we were having fun bothering no one and the bartender yelled at her saying she needed to leave because she was signing. Never in my life have I ever seen someone act so unprofessional and rude as this woman. Never have I ever written a bad review on a business, but the grotesque way this woman was acting provoke me to do so. I won't be returning to this bar again if she is the bartender. And I will most definitely be sharing my experience with my other friends and family so they are awear and stay clear of this woman's poisonous negativity. I can only hope that the owner have a talk to her about what's appropriate behavior while bartending. I also hope that this woman gets help for what ever it is that is going on in her life that she feels like she needs to lash...

When we walked in, the bartender didn't even acknowledge us. Not a big deal... we sat down and no one greeted us, so we decided to sit somewhere where it wasn't so cold and close to the door. So we went on the other side of the bar and sat at a table. Waitress was awesome at first... my friend and I ordered our beverages and we're just chatting. We were talking quite a bit, but we really felt rushed to order.... we were not in a rush.... she did come to our table for our order 4 times. And we were not ready so she just said call her over when we are. So we were like great!!!! We can talk and not be rushed... then she came about 5 minutes later again and I was still not ready but her paper and pen were so we just ordered. food was great.. . but then we didn't see our Waitress until we were all done eating. The server did not ask us if we wanted another beverage as mine was gone when I received my food. But I couldn't ask for another as she didn't even come back to see how our food was.... didn't ask how the food was nothing. The atmosphere was nice the food was great.... but the hospitality all around not very welcoming.... no hello how are you doing, no thanks for coming hope to see ya again.... idk... if I had a business like this, I certainly would make sure my son Patrons were...
