This is literally one of the most difficult reviews Iâve ever written. Margoâs was highly recommended to us by a friend and we were happy to give it a try as we LOVE frequenting local restaurants that arenât chains. We also love international food, particularly Latin food. We arrived and took a seat in a booth. The restaurant is casual, comfortable and unassuming. They brought us tortilla chips and salsa, took our order and opened our wine for us. There was music playing at a nice reasonable volume. As time progressed, we heard ârumblingsâ from the kitchen. The rumblings turned into outright SCREAMING from what I can only assume was the âchefâ (and I use that term loosely as no one who behaves SO unprofessionally deserves that title). The screaming continued and the music suddenly became louder⊠like REALLY loud. The waitstaff (one who I believe was the owners daughter) was visibly upset. Several people left as if was a very uncomfortable atmosphere. We hung in there. We had our dinner, which wasnât bad however, the atmosphere was unsettling. The owners daughter apologized and to her credit offered us a discount. I donât feel they should have had to apologize for this manâs despicable behavior. This man was being downright verbally abusive towards the owner who is an older woman. I left the restaurant with my heart broken for this woman and her daughter and their server (who was also being verbally abused). Whoever he is I pray this was an isolated incident and something out of the ordinary drove him to this deplorable behavior. Margo, you shouldnât accept that type of behavior from ANYONE I donât care WHO they are. Iâm so very sorry you had to deal with that and I hope whatever was going on can be resolved. I donât know who this man is but please do not allow that type of behavior to be tolerated. Seek help if you need to. My heart goes out to you as I know youâre just trying to live out your dream. Best wishes to you. And to your chef, your behavior was ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. You need to seek help as well - for your...
Read moreI recently visited Margos International Cuisine and had an amazing time! The staff was super friendly and spoke both Spanish and English fluently, which made things easy. They even gave us complimentary chips and salsa when we arrived, and let me tell you, the salsa was incredibly tasty â you could definitely tell it was homemade.
I ordered the Bandeja Montañero, and it was fantastic! The salad was delicious, and everything else on the plate was just as good. My boyfriend ordered a steak cooked medium rare, but it came out well done. However, he didn't mind it too much because it was still tasty.
One thing I loved was that they offer pitchers of drinks, which is so convenient and very inexpensive. It's a great option to have alongside the delicious food.
The atmosphere was really nice â not too loud, with pleasant Spanish music playing in the background. It's a clean and cozy place, perfect for a date night or a family dinner. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending Margos International Cuisine to others. Can't wait for my...
Read moreMargo's is amazing. The food is delicious, the owners and staff are so warm and sweet, the service is wonderful. My family and I are Colombian, and we are so excited to have an authentic Colombian restaurant so close to home. Everything was fresh (we had seafood paella today and it was amazing), and cooked perfectly. Everyone should try the bandeja Paisa for some real Colombian flavor! Also, they let my 13 month old walk around their restaurant, and the staff even played with her and found me a quiet spot to nurse her. I can't say enough great things...
