Wawa — Restaurant in Toms River

I love Wawa but the cashier Lester is his name I believe, an old man with white hair was beyond rude to me today. I usually do self checkout but my phone had died when trying to Apple Pay. Got in line to pay cash at the register and my hoagie receipt wouldn't scan. (Later found out it's because I already tried to scan it at self checkout then voided since I couldn't pay with card.. which I didn't know made it invalid) he gave me the worst attitude! I was very apologetic and offered to wait when a line started to form. (Was only about 3 behind me) But I was met with dirty looks and frustration from Lester. Rolling eyes, lack of understanding, poor customer service. rude and made me feel like an idiot for a simple accident. I will be making sure my phone is fully charged so I don't need to interact with this man again. I honestly love this wawa, but the last few times I’ve gone to this store in particular, I have to wait longer for my drinks, even when I’m the only one there. (Mind you I usually go in the evening) especially if I make an online order, they wouldn’t see my order and have asked me multiple times what I am waiting for when they haven’t even made my drink yet. Also when receiving my drink it wouldn’t be what I ordered, not sure if it was rushed or what. The first few times I didn’t mind as much but it’s getting pretty ridiculous. Horrible night shift manager, always in a bad mood and makes you feel like your inconveniencing her for being there. On top of making your sandwich wrong the past 2 times making it. No cheese on the sandwich and not toasted as I selected. And then as I bite into the sandwich a nice green stem tomato for a surprise bite.
