Oquirrh Brews — Restaurant in Tooele

I am saddened to write such a review, but I am very upset. I have gone to both Janna’s Java and Oquirrh Brews. I started going to Oquirrh from Janna’s because my favorite barista left Janna’s to work at Oquirrh. I am like many people who make places a regular visit based on customer service. Your product doesn’t have to be top of the line but I will always be loyal to you if you treat me like you want and value me as a customer. Only one barista has ever done that for me and both shops were lucky to have Theresa for the time they did. Shame on you both for not seeing her value. I don’t know much more about this young lady other than the fact that she was an amazing barista, made quality drinks, moved lines quicker than any other employee I saw, and made me feel very valued as a customer. I always paid in cash and I always tipped well but I cannot in good conscience frequent either establishment without her there because the service simply is not the same, trust me I tried. I was frustrated to hear from another of your employees that the owner, who seem to be out of touch with her business, let Theresa go. You had a person who wanted to make your business work for you and DID make your business work for you trying to genuinely help everybody and you ignored her value. I just hope in the future, should you get another employee of her caliber, you treat them with dignity and respect for what they bring to your business. This place is a joke!!! I've come here frequently. I always spend 28 every time I go because I order the same thing. The Bagel Egg / Bacon or Pear Pick Breakfast with ham and I add bacon and avocado also a muffin and the large mocha tan with add ons.They always leave off the bacon and avocado. I've never complained about it until today. When I called I was met with a woman telling me that Door Dash brings out scammers and that people use this policy to get money back. She was basically accusing me of gaming the system. Shame on her. This has happened 3 times. I called once. she could have refunded the 3.85 for this one trip and I would have been fine with that. However she wanted to tell me how scammers are out there and refused to help me. Not everyone is scamming. I work 115 hourd a pay period so I can afford to take care of myself. I have two adopted children I care for because their parents aren't able to. I'm not a church going person but I pride myself on my honesty and to be made out as a criminal because they are out there is ridiculous to me. If anyone is getting scammed here it's me a...

I visited Oquirrh brews this morning due to the other coffee shops around being closed. I can confidently say that this is now my favorite place to grab coffee and a sandwich. I could not believe that there’s not lines around this cute little shop. It’s tucked away in a bit of an alcove off the street- but the neon pink sign lights the way to an amazing morning experience. I ordered a dirty pumpkin chai and a bacon breakfast sandwich. The chai had 2 shots of espresso in it- BUTTERY smooth. I have (genuinely) never enjoyed a dirty chai, and this one has made me change my mind. The sandwich is lovely. They add cream cheese to the bagel, and it adds a huge dimension of flavor I’ve never had. The whole experience was amazing- but the best part was honestly the employees working. Both of them seemed genuinely happy to be making coffee and were so fun-loving. I enjoyed chatting with them while waiting for coffee. This place overall is so darling.
