Dairy Delight — Restaurant in Tooele

I gotta say, my last visit to Dairy Delight was a real letdown. First off, their speaker at the drive-thru was so bad the staff had to come outside to take my order. You’d think that’s where the trouble ends, but nope.

I get home, and guess what? They gave me the wrong order. So, back I go, and believe it or not, they mess it up again! They totally got my order wrong on the ticket. When I tried to sort it out and talk to the manager, it was a no-go. They didn’t even listen to my issue and just brushed me off saying they did everything right. Sure, the food they made was fine, but it wasn’t what I ordered, you know?

The whole thing just showed me how the place has lost its touch. The manager seemed to not care at all, and I’m there trying to be patient after their double mistake. At least the food’s still good, but man, their service has really...

I have a love hate relationship with Dairy Delight. I have ate there a few times and have never had a complaint until my last visit. My issue is it is annoying when a place charges you for every little thing. We ordered 3 orders of fries for our group and they gave us 1 fry sauce. I asked for more and they wanted to charge. They also charge for refills as well as anything extra on anything! I get it can be hard for a local business to compete against big franchises , every penny does count! On the same note most franchises don't charge you extra for something so minimal in cost to make. If I want extra meat, cheese or toppings in a shake go ahead charge me! I feel sauces and fountain drinks should...

I would give them a 2.5 stars but not able here. I must say the food here is great and always consistent. The food is always hot and never done wrong or lacking in portion size. However, they could really use training in customer service and how to speed up their operation. Every time I have gone inside or just to pick up an order I am met with very unfriendly workers and they are always extremely short with me. The employees act as if they are doing the customer a favor by serving them or just even taking their order. I wish they treated their customers better because I would go more frequently. I hope they will read some of these reviews and pay attention and start treating their customer...
