Was already having a tough day when I decided to come in for a quick lunch. This big dude who’s name was Josh was at the main counter when he took my friend’s order first while having an attitude and rolling his eyes the entire time. Then when it became my turn, I already knew what I wanted. Being used to the quick service of other fast food joints, I began shooting off my order to which he put up his hand and yelled “wait wait WAIT” in the most disgusting attitude I have ever experienced. I’m ALWAYS respectful and can let some attitudes go by since the food industry can be tough but I was ordering in a respectful manner with a smile on my face despite the disgusting behavior he exhibited towards my friend prior. To which I said shockingly “okay okay?” In an attempt to reassure his obvious growing frustrations towards something that could’ve easily been addressed with a kind “I’m sorry, I couldn’t catch that” or “you’re ordering just a bit too fast, would you please slow down so I can make sure I got everything?” Or something along those lines goes a long way.
If I come back to this location (as it’s the closest one to my school for lunch) and I see Josh at the front counter, I absolutely will not hesitate to ask someone else to take my order instead.
EDIT: Turns out this Josh is the “manager” and when I asked another associate to speak to a manager and found out it was him, I kindly asked to speak to whoever is above him. I didn’t mention why, but Josh overheard me say that and came back to ask me why. I responded with the fact that he was extremely rude to me and my friend and the response we got from him while he was taking our order was absolutely unnecessary and not warranted considering the fact we gave him nothing but respect on our end. He “apologized”, and when I said I’d still like to speak to the manager above him, He became argumentative and adamant that he was not disrespectful in any way shape or form to which I begged to differ. After establishing the person above him as being the Area Manager for this location, I asked about a business card and/or phone number to contact her to which Josh responded how he’s “not gonna give me her personal phone number”, which I understand, but I was asking for a phone number similarly to a corporate phone number to contact her with. He claimed the area manager would be present at 5 PM today to which I asked him if HE would also be present at that time and he said “yes”, so I agreed to be back at 5 to speak to the Area Manager about his behavior
EDIT EDIT: I ended up getting there around 5:45 and to no one’s surprise, Josh wasn’t there. I still requested to speak to a manager as the Area Manager was also not present at the time and I spoke to another manager whose name was Jacob I believe. Jacob was fantastic and heard me out and sympathized with the problems me and my friend had with Josh. He even offered me some Hershey Pies which are my favorite as compensation and I apologized to him as it is not fair that he needs to constantly apologize to customers for behavior that isn’t his own. I sincerely hope something is done about Josh as there is absolutely no way he should be in a position of power. I can only imagine how he treats the poor employees that have managed to be below him. Kudos to Jacob, he is fantastic and deserves a raise while Josh should receive a pay cut...
Read moreI am writing to express my utmost concern regarding the state of the restrooms at the restaurant. On October 11th, I encountered a distressing situation that highlights the urgent need for improvements.
Firstly, the absence of a functional bathroom lock is a significant security and privacy concern. I mistakenly assumed that the door was locked. After I locked it, I tried to open it, and it would not open. Then, there was an embarrassing incident where an employee was knocking on the door, and I said, "occupied," which I'm pretty sure I said in a loud enough voice for someone to hear it. It seemed like they tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open in the first place, so that makes me think they use a key or something. But they inadvertently entered the restroom while I was using it. This incident has left me feeling deeply shaken and violated.
Furthermore, the lack of proper signage indicating the locking mechanism of the restroom doors is confusing and poses a risk to all employees. It is imperative that clear and visible signage be installed to avoid similar incidents in the future.
Additionally, the sink in the restroom appears to be malfunctioning, which adds to the overall unsanitary conditions of the facility. I strongly recommend that immediate action be taken to repair or replace the sink to ensure a hygienic environment for all employees.
In light of these concerns, I kindly request that the relevant authorities take swift action to address the aforementioned issues and ensure the safety, privacy, and well-being of all employees. I'm probably not going to go back to this Burger King. And I think they're Sprite from their...
Read moreOrdered 20.00 of food to be delivered. The supposed 1$ bacon cheeseburgers cost 2.19 instead. Not only was it all cold when delivered, but was missing my granddaughters chicken fries and milk. Called bk. They said I had to call the delivery service. I called delivery service, they said I had to call bk for the problem. I called bk back. Same person told me nothing she could do about it as mgr was on vacation. Soooo, I guess no manager means its MY problem? Came to the conclusion that I would need to order the chicken fries and milk and another bacon cheeseburger through the app, again, and she would put my refund for it all in bottom of the bag being delivered as well as staple it closed, so I wouldn't be out anything and my grandaughter could eat. It ended up costing me almost 9.00 for that order, and she placed 5.00 in the bag. 29.00 for a child's cheeseburger meal, an soft serve ice cream, chicken fries, a bacon cheeseburger meal, and an ordinary shake, including the twice ordered items. It didn't cover the extra dollar to deliver again or the tip to the second delivery person, as it was not the second delivery persons fault. This order was also cold. But we just reheated in the microwave. Very poor customer service, poor quality, and took us 2 hours to finally get the food all straightened out and dinner over. This is the second time we have ordered from them, and both times items were missing and not delivered! Never again bk, you lost a customer that usually goes through drive through once or twice a week!...
