Whataburger — Restaurant in Topeka

Not impressed, drive thru order, 1st time ever after hearing the hype of Whataburger. Guess I ordered the wrong food. Got the patty melt, it's NOT A REAL PATTY MELT WHATSOEVER!!!! Lame. It was a good burger on texas toast, semi-grilled (microwaved??) onions. Chicken honey butter biscuit was very good. Their fries suck almost as bad as Freddy's Frozen custard fries. Service was good. Restaurant looked very clean inside from the drive-thru. I guess you have to ASK for ketcup for your bare naked fries even if you get a large. OH, napkins, be SURE to ask for napkins if you're going to be driving on the highway home. Luckily I pulled into a parking spot after to check my order & had to call & ask for them to bring me some napkins, which they did happily. Service was good, except for not putting napkins in my drive-thru order to begin with........ I think the store is very new??? Wasn't going back through the drive thru to get napkins after waiting as long as I did to get my order. I really don't have an issue with the time waited to get my food. I added to my order at the window, but getting to the window with the 4 cars ahead of me seemed excessive. Food was okay overall. Nothing, NOTHING spectacular about Whataburger. Freddy's Frozen custard's patty melts are INFINITELY better than whataburger tries to pass off as a patty melt. Will probably repeat to try the actual wataburger, hopefully it's much better than the imposter they call...

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Whataburger!

From the moment I walked into Whataburger, I was impressed. The restaurant was spotless—floors were clean, tables were wiped down, and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and that made the experience even more enjoyable.

The service was next-level fantastic. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were incredibly polite and helpful. They took the time to make sure my order was correct and even checked in to see if I needed anything else. You could tell they cared about giving great service—not just rushing people in and out.

Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW. Everything was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the fries were crispy and seasoned just right, and the spicy ketchup? Game-changer. You can taste the quality in every bite, and the portions are generous without going overboard.

This was hands-down one of the best fast food experiences I’ve ever had. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down with family, Whataburger delivers on all fronts: taste, service, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back—and I’ll be telling everyone I know to...

I haven’t even had one yet but THANK GOD y’all are here in Topeka. I alone will ensure that this business thrives and stays in Topeka. The best fast food restaurant to ever do it. Will be here several times a week to get my patty melt no onions order 🙏 Thank you Whataburger! Truly a gift from God to see y’all here in Topeka. Cannot wait to have it just like I like it🙏

Edit: Donna Bleau and Jamie Thomas are the absolute dumbest people on the planet. Words cannot describe how low their IQ and self esteem must be. Donna Bleau and Jamie Thomas need their Google accounts taken away. How are you going to give low stars to a location that’s not open yet? Little too slow to do some basic research on an opening date I guess? I’ll be enjoying a party melt while they sit alone, sad, on their computer giving negative reviews to businesses that have not opened yet. Very low class and quite frankly it’s giving “frequent DoorDash user” behavior. Do better and get yalls big selves out the house.
