Not sure which particular Glory Days location my Son ordered from, but considering where he lives in Topeka, KS, the Fleming Place location is the logical choice. After a grueling day at work on a new job, and having skipped both breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, my Son ordered his supper from Glory Days, using the phone app, and charging the order to his credit card. After waiting nearly 2 hours for his pizza to be delivered (all the time starving), he had no choice but to cancel his order. It goes without saying that any pizza delivered after this length of time wouldn't be fit to eat anyway. As a Mother, who lives in Colorado, thoughts of my Son being treated so thoughtlessly and going without supper is unacceptable!!!! I am outraged by this incident, to the point where I am considering writing to the GIory Days Pizza Corporate Office to complain!!! The Glory Days Pizza location in Fleming Place is lucky I don't live in Topeka, or I would have gotten into my car, driven there, and raised their roof. Not only would my Son get a fresh pizza, it...
Read moreTraveling across the country and happened to stumble upon this joint. Good pizza, the loaded baked potato pie was very interesting and tasted good, but the wings need some work…. To say the least… don’t mean to be pretentious but I am from Buffalo and have worked at pizza places in the 716 area.
First off, these wings need to be cooked longer. Most places in the midwest cook wings until they are at 165 degrees but that’s not enough. There needs to be a crispy element to them. These were soggy/very bland and sadly, they were tossed in the garbage. No one wanted them.
Second, the sauce wasn’t a Buffalo sauce. Use Franks, butter, a bit of honey, white vinegar, and a splash of Jack Daniels.. I promise you guys, you can’t go wrong. Pair that with crisping them up in the fryer for another 5 minutes and your wings will come out damn good..
Other than that, everything else tasted good and if I’m ever in Topeka again, I’ll stop by....
Read moreThis place was horrible, hopefully it was bc i ordered at 9 and they close at 10. When i got home and opened the box, there was only toppings on half the pizza and i ordered the works. Not at all what the pictures showed and i get that it never is, but this wasn't even close. The pizza also tasted similar to rubber, not sure what kind of cheese it was. It definitely wasn't worth the $23 i paid for it. I also ordered a large which i would consider a medium any where else. I thought for that amont of $ i would be getting better quality than your average chain. Not to mention they have a 4.5 star rating, which i would say is either attributed to someone making false claims or people having bad taste. I would think the latter of the two. I also think its worth mentioning that this is the first bad review i have ever written. I've experienced some pretty bad food like the rest of us, but this was definitely worthy of...
