So I went to get a few sandwiches at the Subway at 1151 SW Gage blvd. today. I went through the drive thru and used the kiosk as this Subway won't honor any of the app deals. My mother didn't know what she wanted so i backed out of her order and started a different sandwich for her, changed some toppings, all using the 'back' button provided to me for THAT VERY REASON, to make changes BEFORE an order is finished. At which point the worker got on the speaker and told me to 'quit starting and stopping sandwiches because they were making them as i started each one' . I said I didn't realize it was a problem to change my order BEFORE I finalized it. They said ' It's not, we're just making them as you put them in'. Well clearly it is an issue of you felt the need to tell me to 'quit' changing my order. The kiosk has a BACK button for a reason, does it not. As a customer who is about to spend $40 on 3 sandwiches, am I not allowed to use it? Why are you telling a customer to 'quit' using a feature that is provided by the company you are employed by? Or if the kiosk is a problem, then remove it and let me order at the window which I am sure most people would prefer. If you want to start preparing sandwiches before the order has been completed, or even close to complete, then i guess YOU, as an employee who made that decision, run the risk of having to restart that sandwich. I told them not to worry about it cause I'll just go to another Subway, which I did. That Subway, on 21st street, seemed to have no issue waiting for me to COMPLETE my order before making it. I was greeted with kindness and respect, as a customer who is ordering a product the way i am allowed to order it, should. I don't know why an employee would ever think it was appropriate to speak to a customer like that when all they have done is use a feature that YOUR COMPANY provides us. It's rude and completely...
Read moreI have never left a review before but this needed to be said. Mainly because I tipped (not a lot but still) and was very respectful the whole time. I came through the drive thru and although there was a slightly longer than normal wait (which is understandable, I also work in food service so I feel that) the blond person working window immediately apologized and was extremely helpful. I had no issue with the workers themselves or the way i was treated as a customer. HOWEVER, when I got home I found two black straight medium length hairs (one on the outside of my sandwich which I called the store about) and one on the inside under the bread after the fact. Horrifying. I was offered to come back with the receipt and get a new sandwich but … why would I want another hair infested sandwich ? Not to mention, I live 15 minutes away. I had to throw it away, you gmfu if you think I’m gonna take a bite and pull something out my mouth. As someone who is a server, I am usually very forgiving with mess ups but things that don’t got to be in my food should stay out my food . That’s just something I see no excuse for whatsoever, I’ve never had an issue with a subway before (I love them) and im not sure if it’s just GAGE’s location or whoever was working but y’all needa do some more sanitizing training or something idk ts nasty. Hair nets, hair ties, caps, and bonnets all prevent this issue and it’s against sanitation laws to not be wearing at least a hair net so it’s just mind boggling to me that this still happened. I paid in cash so I didn’t even try getting a refund, but now idk what to do with this subway...
Read moreI like Subway, I like the raspberry cookies but I also like the oatmeal cookies sometimes. My Grandmother brought me to subway so I was getting cookies to share with her and my sister. Therefore that’s 2 cookies each for each of us so I bought a total of 6 cookies. I grab my oatmeal cookie, I let my grandmother grab a cookie and I look and there is only 3 cookies left in the box before I even let my sister grab one, I go back inside and ask to get the other cookie I bought. The person that rang me up had pink hair half shaved head and piercing on her lip messed up teeth said “No I gave you 5 raspberry and 1 oatmeal” I said “No you inly gave me 4 raspberry and one oatmeal I have the oatmeal (I pointed at my cookie in my hand) and my grand mother grabbed one out of the box, I looked and theres only 3 left in the box” she said I was lying and that she knew what she put in the box. I asked her if she knew how to count because obviously she didn’t count out my cookies correctly because I only had 5 cookies. With her raising her voice at me and calling me a liar I asked her what her name was. She said “My name is stevie and you can tell whoever you want.” I’m pretty sure that’s what she said her name was I was upset so I left and I don’t know if I want to come back the name says served by: 5648 5/30/2023 1:47:29pm. All over a dang cookie that I...
