I allowed remote access into two computers at my site so that Andres could investigate overclocking a computer I own. Andres asked for the passwords to the computers which I thought strange. Andres used a remote access called instant house call to obtain the configuration of my computer to determine if over clocking was possible. I agreed to pay $30 for the research. The instant house call app left a install version on my computers which I thought strange. Andres promised a call back in 5 minutes that never occurred. I called in on the phone that I originally contacted Andres with to see what was happening. But that call rolled over to his answering machine. So I sent 3-4 text messages to Andres. Still no response. So I called Andres on my land line which has a different number. This time he did pick up. He said was still doing research. I told him no problem but I would not be available by phone for the next hour. He asked if he could send me an email. I told him whatever worked best for him. Andres never provided the results of the research he said he was completing for me but he did send me a bill for $40 which I thought strange. Andres was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. His communication skills were great; he kept me in the loop via texts concerning my computer’s problems, delays, and necessary equipment/procedures. Even though I have basic-to-intermediate knowledge of computers, he rephrased advanced technological problems in ways even I could understand. He was quite transparent about his prices, and when something had to be done, he always let be know beforehand with the risks and benefits so I could make an informed decision. After looking around online, I found that his prices were just, and a lot cheaper than other competitors would charge. I have been trying for weeks to download a video game mod that I have wanted to play for years. I got desperate and started looking for someone I could pay to do it.
