10/19/18: I am done with BWW. Corporate Support reached out saying they would "check" on the problems I have been having with Blazin' Rewards. Three weeks later, crickets... Lip service is the best service BWW provides.
Original Post: Great place for wings and other pub food and watching the game... any game. I count 26 TVs so everyone should find something of interest to go with their favorite food and beverage. Cheers!
3/2018: Update - I have been here a number of times now and the food and service quality have both declined. Placed an order 2 wks ago and got something entirely different. Waitstaff insinuated I had ordered what they presented. Not sure how that could have happened when my son and I both reviewed or orders with the waiter and we saw what he wrote down when taking the order. We did have to clarify twice what we wanted, which is why we asked for the 3rd review of the order tableside.
Then, it took almost an hour to get the "correct" sandwich out of the kitchen. My son was done with his meal long before that and waited patiently for my meal. When it came, again, it wasn't what I had ordered originally, or re-ordered. Not wanting to wait another hour, I decided not to press the issue. This sandwich was on the verge of being cold, and was very dry. Almost like I was being penalized for their original mistake. I ate half and we decided to leave.
Went back last night and had a similar experience. I am taking this off my list of favorite fun places to go, and downgrading from 5 stars, to 3.
9/2018: yet again I have to downgrade my rating for this restaurant location, and the chain overall. Got a Blazin' Reward offer for 25% off wings, one day only. Ok, packed up the family and off we went. Explained to our server before we ordered that I had a 25% off offer that I wanted to use. She looked at the email on my phone and seemed fine with the discount. So we order, eat, and get the cheque. No 25% off so I inquired with my server.
She said that if I want to use bonus points, she will do it when she processed the payment. Sorry, we aren't using points, we want to use an offer I received and opted-in for using my phone app. Well, we waited for a while as she checked, and then she comes to the table and tells us it is a corporate offer and they can't do a thing about the way the order rings up on the register.
I ask why not, and am told she doesn't know and that the manager is running the grill and can't help so I'm just out of luck. We pay full price and left, likely forever.
I emailed the Corp office in MN, but am not expecting a response or any resolution. Will update this if I am...
Read moreWe were meeting up with friends who were passing through town at a later hour than normal and this was one of the few spots open so we decided to go even though we hadn't had the best experience last time we had gone.
There were 5 adults and one child total. We were seated quickly as there were many tables open and got our drink order in and received them very timely. We put in our appetizers and only ordered two(onion rings and chips and salsa) which took a while to come, but the onion rings were very good so worth the wait.
We then put in our meals and a second round of drinks. We waited for about 20 minutes and part of the order came missing two meals and the drinks.
The people who got their food began to eat because we assumed that the other meals would be out shortly. Everyone was about finished with their meals when a server finally came over to check in. That is when we told him that drinks were missing along with two of the meals we ordered (a wrap and a salad) the server quickly ran to the kitchen, brought the wrap out but no salad he said that he had to get new lettuce(probably was not made in the first place) the drinks came after the wrap and then the salad came when the others had finished their meal.
The salad was the buffalo wedge salad(not worth the almost 14 dollars) I was disappointed that when the bill came there was not a discount or an item removed from the bill for the wait/lack of attention.
I work in the food service industry and can appreciate that these times are tough and being short staffed does not help. When we make mistakes or find that people have been waiting an unreasonable time we comp the item or give them a discount... Something to show a level of care on the situation. I certainly was not expecting to pay nothing, but a simple acknowledgment of the problem would have even...
Read moreWhere to begin? We had a party of 7 and it took 4 employees standing around doing nothing for almost 5 minutes to figure out that it would be "too awkward" to put a small table at the end of a booth. Instead, they figured we could cram everyone into the booth and put one person at the end. Yeah, that also didn't work. We ended up putting two people at an adjacent table so everyone could sit comfortably. Our server, poor soul, must have been somewhat new so I can't really fault her too much. She wasn't very clear about the children's meal options and we ended up spending extra to get fries added. My wife wasn't asked how she would like her burger cooked. It arrived well done. So hopefully if you go here for a burger, that's how you'd like it cooked. We weren't asked what sort of dipping sauce we wanted for the fried pickles and had to spend another $0.60 for a tiny cup of ranch dressing while the other sauce went to waste. If you expect actual blue cheese dressing for your wings, you may as well just stay home. What they call blue cheese is a sad runny excuse for something that might resemble watered down blue cheese to the uneducated. Even at most chain restaurants you'd expect chunks of actual cheese in it. Not so at B Dubs. If you should actually happen to want more of it, you'll have to shell out another... you guessed it, $0.60 for another tiny cup of disappointment which my brother in law was tricked into doing. Overall, I ended up paying over $70 for an extremely underwhelming and overpriced meal for a family of three. Will I or anyone in our party be returning? No. Don't waste your time or money. In closing, I'm attaching a picture of Jim Henson's beloved Swedish Chef as I'm sure he would be far more capable of providing a pleasant dining experience than Buffalo Wild...
