3 stars is being fair…. It could be less We saw that this place was coming to town and patiently waited for it to open after what seems to be a year or more of set up and have been very excited about the drive up window service along with knowing that Mikes makes a delicious sandwich. Unfortunately, after ordering twice recently we were disappointed with the quality of the sandwich and apparent refusal to follow our requests such as, no oil and extra veggies. the option for more veggies is part of the ordering experience, yet we’ve got three sandwiches that have had half the sandwich without the tomato or pickles, or three pickles on a giant sub. Last time we orders, we thought it was a fluke and requested in writing with our online order that there be lots of veggies ( and no oil, vinegar) and the same thing happened as before. Oil and vinegar were on the subs, as well as the smallest amount of veggies imaginable, almost no pickles, or jalapeños or anything besides lettuce. It also seems that the roast beef which was very dry, is also called top round on a different sandwich but seemingly is the same meat. The bottom of the sandwich had no condiments on the bread when we asked for mayo and mustard on each sandwich and the top was wet with oil and vinegar and made the bread soggy. I’ve eaten at Mikes plenty of times before while living out west and haven’t had this issue, which is why I’ve written this review and feel disappointed. One more thing I have to say is I agree with the reviewer who mentioned it was a weird awkward experience with the employees, I understand the leaning curve of a new business, but the last time we went the clerk didn’t say one single word to me at all. It feels very...
Read moreOkay, where to start...🤔 I came in with two other coworkers today. One ordered a bowl, the other a hot sub, and for myself, a steak and cheese.
Coworker 1: She ordered a bowl for herself. She said that the bowl could've had more in it, especially if she paid the same price for a hot sub with bread.
Coworker 2: She said that when she got her food, the top of the bread was soggy, but the ends were hard. She said she was expecting a better experience for the price. She says the restaurant was too cold, and the person (woman) that checked us out wasn't customer friendly and didn't offer any additional items such as a drink, chips, or sweets.
As for myself, I will not visit this location again. As coworker 2 said, the cashier wasn't friendly and barely looked at me. We all arrived at the same time, but she serviced my coworkers first. I had to wait to get my order because she went to another customer, skipping over me. It was cold in there so we didn't eat inside. The food was good but not worth the price.
Just to be clear, this is not to bash or belittle the workers there, but to provide honest feedback so that there is a possibility for growth to improve on...
Read moreCame here the other day and did not want to eat fast food but something different.
Parking is abundant since it is in the strip mall. There is no drive through.
Must ask for oils because they DO NOT offer it - I guess you just have to know they have it and know what types of oils the carry. *
I got a #13 Italian sub regular for about $10, and my husband got a #17 Mike's Philly Cheese Steak sub regular about $10 and a fountain drink. It came out to about $25
The sub is a large portion and my Italian tasted fresh, not at all like subway. It would have been nice to have some oils on the sub but didn't know until I drove off and my husband said he read a sign saying they had famous oils. It would have been nice since they advertise they have famous oils to at least offer it! Husband's Philly was super scrumptious! I have not had one that good in a long time!
I might come back just to try another sub with their...
