Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Torrance

I've been a regular customer here for some time. I used to really enjoy the food and service. My favorite server was a young transgender-looking girl with a gothic style. She is always so gentle, kind, and attentive every time I come for a meal. So imagine my suprise when I come today to see the restaurant packed, the girl crying and exhausted, all the while the cook is screaming at her and other people in the dining room say cruel things that would break the girl's heart .This is not the first time I've see other employees treat this girl poorly. I even see her crying as she leaves the restaurant after her shift on occasion. She's clearly overworked and underappreciated. I see her take orders on in the dining room and drive through. I see her checking the gear in the kitchen, cleaning the restaurant, and doing most everything with little help. I see her most everyday, to the point where I don't think she gets days off. I can't imagine where this place would be without her, but every day I go she seems less and less happy, and today she was crying and could barely form sentences while the cook was screaming at her. This has to be the worst Carl's Jr restaurant ever encountered. I have been in over 20 Carl's Jr restaurants. I like the spicy chicken, the breakfast burritos, and quesadillas(green burrito applicable). The past 4 times I've been in this one, there's always some excuse for not making my breakfast burrito meatless. They said they can't take out the meat because it's already made. How embarrassing is that to a customer that has been vegetarian and has ordered this for nearly a year now?. I insist and they said they can't do it. Then one of them makes me repeat my order like 5 times because can't understand me. Next time, they ask me if I want any condiments, I answered mayonnaise please and I get taco salsa instead. Next time, there's an African lady just not saying Hi and just snatching my card when I presented to her. I don't think all of these employees are happy with their pay or job duties. And the bad thing is that I came back to this location sometimes because it's already on the way and close to the freeway. Please it needs better management. When I first arrived through the drive thru a man was taking my order and then a woman cut in while I was ordering. As I pulled up to the window she was extremely rude and kept walking away/cutting me short when I was trying to explain and make sure my food I ordered was customized. Since she kept walking away she didn’t hear me and I felt as if she was talking about me to her employees based off the aggressive energy she had towards me. I don’t know Spanish that well but I could hear some of the words she was saying. I assume she was the manager because she was the only one not wearing a work uniform and she took charge. When she did come back to the window and I told her that I didn’t want a specific thing on my burger she had an attitude. Towards the end when she finally gave me my food it seemed like she was trying to be nice because I didn’t acknowledge her rudeness towards me.
