India’s Halal Curry & Pizza Torrance — Restaurant in Torrance

Terrible experience. I placed an online order, got a text and email saying pick up time. Got there and they did not receive my online order, so the guy placed the order for me there. Had to wait another 20 minutes, ok. I came back in 20 minutes later and the large pizza I ordered was made as a small. The guy gave me $3 cash back to compensate, even though paying for a large vs small is more than $3 difference. Whatever, at this point I'm frustrated and hungry and just want to get home. Get home and the fish tenders that I also ordered for my toddler which are supposed to be made of cod are salmon. My toddler won't eat them. Now I'm also pregnant and salmon, while I usually like, makes me sick during pregnancy... so nobody could eat the fish. So now I'm scrambling to get my toddler food, plus myself and my husband and I essentially spent $50 for a small 12" pizza. In the middle of eating, the guy calls me to say that the 2 naan breads we ordered (my husband likes naan bread so he wanted to try theirs) they only gave us 1, so I have a credit for naan bread for the next time I go. Sorry dude, we're not coming back. They couldn't get one thing about the order right. The place smells of incense so if they stay open that will start to permeate in the food taste (everyone knows not to burn incense/ scented candle while serving food because it messes with the palate). When I was in the place to get my food I'm wearing shorts because it's hot and pregnant, I'm fair skinned, the guy kept looking at my legs as if he'd never seen fair skin before so good job making me feel comfortable....

Curry & Pizza is a wonderful neighborhood spot that serves up an unusual, but cleverly executed, mix of Indian Food and pizza. To start I was warmly greeted by the manager Nitin and the hospitality just went up from there. I was in the mood for pizza but the Indian selections were intriguing as well. I settled on a meat lover’s pizza with some chicken tikka masala and an order of Tandoori wings. The pizza dough was light and perfectly cooked and the toppings blended together for a delightful experience. The wings were the right mix of spicy and juicy with that traditional Tandoori flavor. I felt like a VIP during my entire visit as Nitin made sure I had a great experience. I highly recommend Curry & Pizza and I hope you will stop by and taste what they have to offer. I know I will be back to sample many more items on both sides...

The name says it all. A confusing blend of offerings. Pizza, Wings, Curries. We went with the Lamb Curry combo, so once again, confusion. Rice, Lamb Curry, Veggie curry, Chicken, Really? Pick one and stick to it. The food had been dumbed down and was flavorless. Thank goodness I did not go with the Indian Curry Pizza. WTH?? The service was really slow and agonizing. One gentleman walked in and showed his Online order and was told 20 mins? He stormed out. A piece of constructive advice. Decide who you are, and be the best at what you do. You cannot be Italian Indian pizza place selling wings. I realize you bought the pizza restaurant that was there before so you got the Pizza ovens, but really just sell Pizza, and make the finest Pizza in...
