Truthfully, I don’t wish to write this review knowing that it might not even be heard. Mainly because this location already appears to be a 4.5 star location. There is a new shift lead here named Rene. I have asked to use their restroom in the past, and I was told they don’t have a public restroom and they don’t allow customers to use their employee restroom. Today, I witnessed the staff allow a Hispanic woman into the restroom with a child which I was told is against their policy. When I confronted the manager (Rene) who is Hispanic he told me that it was at their discretion who they allowed to use their restroom (I have this recorded). This raises a huge concern for a few reasons. Reason number 1 it makes the company policy appear to not hold to uniform standards. Number 2 it seems as though they hold biases between their customers. Not to mention I had just asked to substitute milk for soy in my drink that cost nearly $5. They said they would have to charge me almost $1 for it. Rene indicated that he was just following company policy. How does this make the Starbucks brand appear in the eyes of consumers as a well recognized publicly traded company? I felt prejudice in those moments which is unfair considering I am a regular Starbucks customer who sympathizes with baristas. I wish upper management at the district level would take this review into heavy...
Read moreThis StarBucks closes whenever they feel like it last week we pulled up to the drive thru and they said they were closed, I wasn't sure what they said so I asked again they wouldn't reply, I drove to the window and.they said they were short Staffed, the place was empty and there were Four employees inside wiping things down. As we drove out of the driveway an employee quickly placed cones acrossed it. again tonite we arrived LONG before closing (3hrs+) and they already had cones acrossed the opening and we could see three or four employee's inside. Both times we drove to the Starbucks on Artesia and Van Ness where we were met with friendly hardworking staff members happy to stay opened and prepare our drinks.
I Suggest everyone just forget the random hours Starbucks even exists, don't waste your time driving there and go straight to the location on Artesia and Van Ness!
I will won't waste my time with the location on Crenshaw near 164th street ever again what use is a closer location if it is closed hours before it is supposed to, had I walked there I'd have gotten...
Read moreWhat a shame. I usually get great service here, and usually my drinks are fine... except this time.
The service was horrible. My usual baristas were not there and it started bad already. I asked for a peppermint mocha and they were out, which is understandable. So I asked for the regular mocha with extra chocolate topping. Usually they don't charge me. This time, they did. Anyways, I drive up to pick up and I tasted my drink, my wife hers. They tasted disgusting. No flavor on both. So I pull away adm park to not hold traffic or the person behind me. The lady at the window already seemed angry before I even approached. I walked up and she asked what was wrong with them. I said they taste disgusting, and I was about to say a bit more and she annoyingly cut me off. "Alright, alright!". Just terrible customer service. No sorry. No would you like us to get you new drinks. Nothing. Starbucks REALLY needs better workers, and they wanna get paid more money for what they do? I will never go back here, and I come here at least 4 times a week....
