KFC — Restaurant in Torrance

When it comes to crispy chicken here in the U.S, many people choose KFC as their go to solution for their chicken craze. It is for good reason because KFC is pretty quick, has good customer service and delicious food. My family and I tend to go to KFC on occasional weekends whenever we want chicken to eat. Whether we wait in line inside or by drive-through, we have never waited more than 10 minutes for our order. I usually tend to try new things rather than try the same old meal everytime we visit. On our latest trip, I was fortunate enough to try the chicken and waffles they had for a limited time. They were absolutely delicious. Fluffy waffles and delicious chicken tenders to go along so well together in KFC's iteration. However, I understand that some people do not like the fact most of their items are overly greasy at times and how sketchy the time wait is for their chicken. Most of the time, I choose new exciting items or limited time items they offer, and I've never experienced overly greasy food. The drive-thru employee was extremely unprofessional. I ordered the 2 Extra Crispy chicken sandwich on sale for 2/$6.00. Here is what happened:

Me: I would like to order 2 crispy chicken sandwiches with light mayo on one sandwich, and a cup of water please. Employee: Your total is $8.xx.

I drive to the window.

Employee: Your total is $8.xx. Me: I'm sorry, but shouldn't it be $6.00 plus tax? The sign says it back there. Employee: Oh, you have to tell us that. Me: You're joking, right? I have to tell you about your own sale that you posted? Employee: Nevermind.

She slams drive-thru window. Comes back 3 minutes later.

Employee: $6.57.

Gives me the food and closes the window. I wait for the water. She comes back with an attitude.

Employee: You're still here? Me: Yes, I ordered a cup of water.

Hands me a plastic cup of water with no lid and an extremely long straw. Closes window and says nothing.

I have never been to a restaurant that requests me to remind them of their sale. Also, the second sandwich had extra mayo rather than light mayo. If you continue to have employees like this one, this will be the first and last time I will ever visit...

Not only employees don’t care about any concern about your order , Kfc promotes one price on t.v and when you arrive the employees say is only on line. I checked on my phone at their website and no where it mention prices only on line. Not only Kfc don’t honor their prices advertise on t.v but the employees lie straight to customers face . Cashiers in this specific location seem to always have their friends park in front or side of the drive thru to chat with one another especially at night time . Today (1-31-21) a week ago I post my review about this location service and received a automated reply telling me I will get a call or response, which I have not receive yet . Make sense their franchise partners are a reflection of corporate, incompetent and not caring ! Update (4-13-21) still have not receive a response as they said they where going to call me .
