I found this unique bakery, "Sweet Thumb Artisanal Baking Company" while I was driving on Torrance Boulevard in Torrance. It was hard to find the parking lot so I parked on the street. Later I found out they had the parking lot at the back of the building. I went inside the bakery. It was cleaned and well-maintained. I was greeted by a friendly lady who was both an owner and a baker. They had all kinds of baked goods such as cookies, brownies, tarts, and cakes. They baked all kinds of goodies without butter, milk & eggs. And they used plant-based ingredients. They offered small samples of gluten-free goodies and I tried the samples. They were really delicious! I bought a lemon cream tart, raspberry cookies , and an energy drink. I tried the lemon cream tart. It was not that sweet. When I tried the first bite, it was amazing! It was lemony 🍋 and scrumptious! Then, the raspberry cookie was soft and flaky. It was a wonderful taste. I knew that it wasn't easy to bake gluten-free goods because I tried to bake gluten-free goods and it didn't come out good. I would like to recommend this bakery to everyone. Especially if you are on a gluten-free diet and a vegan diet. You must try their delicious baked goods!

Wow! A vegan AND gluten-free bakery! As in...99% of the items are BOTH vegan and gluten-free. This is a rare find and we're so glad we found them recently. We tried many of their items and especially enjoyed the mango-coconut cookie, lemon tart, and blueberry-yuzu galette amongst other baked goods. We got a cup of drip coffee which was so smooth and rich! They have a small refrigerator that has Stumptown cold coffee (the best) drinks! They also make empanadas and we highly recommend the rosemary-mushroom filled one. The owner/baker is a lovely lady who is so passionate about baking that she shifted careers a few years ago to bake full-time! She understands the need and importance of vegan, gluten-free baked goods and it will be great to see her evolve in her growing business.

I have been coming to Sweet Thumb for months now and let me tell you Arnie's gluten and sugar cookies are addicting! I stayed away from cookies and sweets for a while because of the sugar, calories, and artificial ingredients. UNTIL I visited this place 🤤 It took me a little while for my taste buds to adjust to not sugary like pastries though, but at the end it was worth it. I can enjoy my pastries now without feeling guilty or worrying about sugar or gluten. Please give this bakery a chance. Annie (owner) is the most sweetest and gifted baker I've ever known. You can tell she pours love and craft into her work for the people ❤️❤️❤️
