It feels like one of those rare, family-owned treasures that locals quietly keep to themselves (and for good reason). Seating is limited, but that just adds to its cozy, no-frills charm. Most people seem to grab their food to-go, but don’t let that stop you from dining in if you can snag a seat. We went around golden hour, and let me tell you—between the lighting and the warm vibes, everything looked straight out of a postcard. The place is tiny. Only 3 tables in the establishment. There was a lot of traffic as far as people coming in and ordering to go and so did we. But the staff were welcoming, fast and efficient. My son ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and he said it was delicious. The portions were pretty big and fairly priced. The combo came with a small fry and 16 oz drink. The drink was like a kid size at any other establishment but the fries would have easily been a large at a McDonald's as far as size goes. We went in for lunch yesterday, 9-26-19, and were waiting for 5 minutes in line just for someone to come to the register to help us waiting in line. And when the lady came to take orders she walked over from handling food with no gloves to grabbing cash and then a chicken patty out of the freezer behind the cash register to throwing it in the basket used in the fryers behind the register. Hygiene is of no importance here, and from where I was standing I could see chicken sitting on a counter top with the person in the back handling it gloveless as well.
