Family restaurant with great service given what seemed like a hectic atmosphere. They need better management or a better system. Set up like a please be seated but attempted to run as a please wait here to be seated. Open kitchen, very loud and annoying. Upgrades need to be made. I had the baked Sicilian Penne with home made meatballs, tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, penne, topped with Mozzarella. It was good, I finished it, however, needed more sauce and I'm not a big fan of penne but they have no angel hair. Debbie had the baked mannacotti and finished it too, so she liked it. Only 3 dressings for the dinner salad, blue cheese (yuk), ranch (yuk), and a house oil and vinegar which was not very good, what a waste of the .10 cent dinner salad. Bread was ok, kind of prebuttered but served with no butter, unacceptable. Lots of pizza options, grinders, and appetizers, but that's it. Good heavy trafficked location so they'll stay in business.

The pizza pepperoni was good the wings were good the service was good but I asked for chicken bacon ranch pizza and got hard over cooked chicken we couldn’t even bite into a whole pizza not even my kids would eat and where was the bacon ? So the manger sent a fresh one and it was much better I would definitely get here again . Very nice people they made a mistake on a separate occasion of wrong flavor wings apologized and sent new they are good people and a great place to eat we have enjoyed everything we tried here I highly recommend best in Torrington

The food is delicious and there are big portions. The chicken tenders were huge and looked like real meat, not processed. Eggplant fries came with a big bowl of sauce. Pizza is Chicago deep dish style with a thick layer of toppings and crispy crust. They cut the large in a box style not pie pieces.

I moved here 7 years ago and every place I tried I just didn't like or care for there pizza, it was either too soggy, too acidity, just didn't taste right. With reluctantance my boyfriend dragged me to Pizza Palace I ordered a personal pan size of Cheese and Black Olive Pizza from the moment I put a piece in my mouth and chewed I knew right there I found my pizza haven. The Grilled Chicken Salad omg so good, they don't have Mozzarella sticks but they do have a block of Mozzarella breaded and deep fried I ask for the sauce on the side in my opinion if you don't they will over do it. The Servers here are polite and kind, always checking in on you, the atmosphere is kinda out dated and dark it would be more welcoming if they just brighten the place. When you walk in there is a sign on the door " door sticks pull hard" which needs to be fixed. I am a regular here when I crave a yummy...

I am The Foodie Wife ordered me a Greek salad.. let say it had iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, salami, pepperoni mozzarella cheese, green peppers, scant amount of feta cheese kalemata olives and no anchovies which I ordered ( the only reason you get one star) and oil and vinegar for dressing. A real Greek salad consist of romaine lettuce, lots of feta cheese, croutons and Greek dressing. Don't call your salad Greek salad. You should be embarassed. As a restraunt you should learn proper food recipes. You have one chance to impress a customer but you lost me as a paying customer. If you think I'm wrong on a Greek salad recipe go online I hit the nail on the head. So sorry for my review but I'm a foodie and been cooking for 30 years. So hope you can learn what a real Greek salad supposed to look...
