Family restaurant with great service given what seemed like a hectic atmosphere. They need better management or a better system. Set up like a please be seated but attempted to run as a please wait here to be seated. Open kitchen, very loud and annoying. Upgrades need to be made. I had the baked Sicilian Penne with home made meatballs, tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, penne, topped with Mozzarella. It was good, I finished it, however, needed more sauce and I'm not a big fan of penne but they have no angel hair. Debbie had the baked mannacotti and finished it too, so she liked it. Only 3 dressings for the dinner salad, blue cheese (yuk), ranch (yuk), and a house oil and vinegar which was not very good, what a waste of the .10 cent dinner salad. Bread was ok, kind of prebuttered but served with no butter, unacceptable. Lots of pizza options, grinders, and appetizers, but that's it. Good heavy trafficked location so they'll stay...
Read moreI moved here 7 years ago and every place I tried I just didn't like or care for there pizza, it was either too soggy, too acidity, just didn't taste right. With reluctantance my boyfriend dragged me to Pizza Palace I ordered a personal pan size of Cheese and Black Olive Pizza from the moment I put a piece in my mouth and chewed I knew right there I found my pizza haven. The Grilled Chicken Salad omg so good, they don't have Mozzarella sticks but they do have a block of Mozzarella breaded and deep fried I ask for the sauce on the side in my opinion if you don't they will over do it. The Servers here are polite and kind, always checking in on you, the atmosphere is kinda out dated and dark it would be more welcoming if they just brighten the place. When you walk in there is a sign on the door " door sticks pull hard" which needs to be fixed. I am a regular here when I crave a yummy...
