I stopped in the store at 6pm on Friday not knowing the store closed at 7. Alex was working alone and helping a couple that arrived right before I did. In overhearing that conversation, I could tell Alex goes above and beyond helping the costumers, but I didn’t expect to see how far Alex is willing to go. After I arrived, another couple arrived at 6:30 with another customer coming in after 7pm. Alex went back and forth, helping and advising all of us. It would have been easy and acceptable to let the customer that came in after 7 that he was closed, but Alex did not hesitate help him as well. It’s one thing to make a sale after hours but I was most impressed with the time he spent with each of us advising and educating on the various options on how to proceed in our individual needs. Not once did I feel rushed or felt I was an inconvenience. Multiple times he even apologized for the wait and thanked US for our patience when in actuality, he deserves all the praise. I was the last customer to leave that night. I think it was around 8:15-8:30. Embarrassingly, I do not praise stellar customer service enough, but Alex’s approach to serving Verizon customers needs to be shared and highlighted. I know the other customers that night would say the same. To Verizon management : Alex is an asset to your company. My hope is he as recognized and treated as such. He offered to have me come in the following day and we could further discuss the Bogota sale and the terms of it. When I finally went and met with Juan he was professional, respectful, understanding, knowledgable, and honest. He explained what the deal was that I wanted and how it would work with the two phones I picked out since it wasn't the actually deal as advertised. I asked if it would be easier to lay in full and he said no and explained why. He offered us another amazing add on deal and a bundle for accessories. He was patient with me and my husband and 2 yo daughter when I had forgot my husband's card at home and was completely understanding and patient while we waited for my husband to get back. He never once got upset that my daughter waa as running around playing with things and being lol loud climbing or jumping. This was an amazing experience for sure and I'm so glad I took the chance. At the risk of getting him into trouble by him not insisting that the only option was a new & more expensive plan.
