Stop & Shop — Local services in Torrington

The worst costumer service. I was in the self checkout and had a few produce items. I was putting in the quantity and using the search button to correctly add in my items. The last item I had happened to be grapes. A women working in the area came behind me, grabbed the grapes out of my hand, and responded with “NO. Absolutely not. These are NOT green grapes”. I was too stunned to speak, and didn’t not even realize what she was talking about, because she didn’t not explain herself or the mistake I had made. She then went on to say that the type of grapes I had grabbed were not in the computer, and everything I had entered was wrong. She then added in the item and stormed off. I flipped the bag of grapes over to see that they happened to be cotton candy grapes, but yes they were still green. I hadn’t even realized I had picked cotton candy, and didn’t even want those ones. Everyone makes mistakes I didn’t even bother to explain that those were not the ones I had wanted. I didn’t even want to approach her again. I understand everyone has to do their job and watch to make sure items are scanned, put in the right way, etc. but not even letting someone speak or asking them if they had meant to select the incorrect item? I am in shock at this. And to rip them...

Can someone please explain to me how I contact somebody with a complaint. Both stop and shops have their machines on. Now I usually shop here and my experiences are usually just okay not bad could be better. However on Sunday I went shopping everything was fine was rushed out of there by workers not very helpful which I can get over cuz I get it you want to go home. Cut to Monday I get home from work I want to have a snack before I make dinner I had bought some banana bread and a long behold there's a big moldy spot right in the middle can't open that now. My second complaint is about the produce because it is way too expensive to be buying bad produce..I bought brussel sprouts and a summer squash thing the brussel sprouts had soggy spots and the squash was brown underneath on top it looked fine like it was good to go but underneath was Brown I'm very upset. Prices are up way to high for issues like this to be ignored.... Why has still no one contacted me or giving...

I placed an order with stop and shop and I went to pick up the order and didn’t see there was substitutions no one informed me of any when bringing out my order and they didn’t even help load it in when I got home I noticed there was big boxes of chicken nuggets that I didn’t order so I went to check the receipt of course it’s not in the bags so I check my email and notice that they substituted my kids chicken nugget meals for boxes of chicken nuggets that cost more then double the price and they were charging me for the more expensive option even when I didn’t want it in the first place it wasn’t even a close substitute what I ordered would have been meals for my kids I can just pop in the microwave and now I have 4 boxes for chicken nuggets that my kids probably won’t eat and the best they could do was keep me on hold not even really address the issue and said well it was a substitute very unhappy with how this place is being run definitely miss the old...
