Had a hankering for fish & chips and a beer. Murphs was nearby. Walked in and there was an immediate urine-like odor. It did dissipate but still, and might have been my clue to leave. Ordered thefish & chips and a Yuengling draft. Beer cold in a good sized glass but tasted off, like it was stale? Ordered a Stella which was better. Fish & chips came out and wasn't as I expected from an Irish pub. 4 thin pieces of fried fish, like a panko coating, overcooked. Chips weren't the steakhouse type but thin cut.    Read moreWas there in the summer. Had heard a lot about the place, so I went with a friend one day. Cozy, clean hometown bar. Our waitress was very friendly (she joked/complained about being hungover from a big party the night before, but she didn't miss a beat...service was excellent). There were some tables to smoke cigars and drink out front. The jukebox was well curated. The local crowd was good. We struck up a few conversations out of nowhere. I'd definitely go back....
