Did a pickup order here, not sure if the locals are just in love with this place as to why it has such high stars or if they don’t realize there are better choices. I travel the US and can tell you this place is not that great, the food came out quick but looked like it was put together by a 3 yr old trying to learn how to stack stuff. The burgers have a good flavor but the patties are so thin I really don’t think they are worth the price they charge. The chicken strips that we bought were almost all breading and very little chicken. Like I said I had a pick up order, took a few minutes to even get anyone’s attention so I could get my order that was sitting on the counter, then they tried giving me a med drink and ice cream, which I didn’t order, when I told them I was supposed to have a large Mountain Dew and a large rootbeer they just gave me the cups to fill myself. No where to sit my bag of food by the drink machine because all the countertops were soaked with pop and water so, I was stuck holding all our food while trying to fill two large drinks, all the lids were out except the large, but the other customers were complaining about no lids. The guy running the register wasn’t sure how to do certain things and tried getting help and no one would help him. Overall not sure why this place is even in business let alone why it is so busy, from the moment I walked in the door until I walked out it was like mass chaos in there. One of my fave places to eat but feel like the past few months it’s really gone downhill. Food used to always be good but is now totally hit or miss. The place is more or less run by a bunch of teenagers. Have had multiple occasions where we stop in with still an hour until close and they have already put up the chairs and ask that we order for take out only, while most of the crew are all huddled at one of the tables gossiping about whatever the current happenings at their high school is. It’s SO unprofessional and not okay in my opinion. I understand being a kid and wanting to gossip with your friends but you’re at work. If it was 15 mins to close that’s one thing but an hour? Not cool. Especially in the winter when I can’t even at least eat outside then. There are 2 older women who work there who I think are great and seem to be the only ones who take the job seriously and get me excellent food every time. I love this place and the custard is my absolute favorite but I wish they would get their act together. Also, PLEASE clean the place! The floor is at this point straight up disgusting.
