UPDATE
#MargaritasGotItRight #GreatCustomerService
I wanted to take a moment to say that Margaritas values their customers! I initially complained regarding portion size. I was contacted by the GM who took the time to hear my matter without making excuses. Unbeknownst to me, he went to the kitchen and had the chef whip up the meal I complained about according to the recipe. The GM promptly got back with me and informed me that my complaint was valid. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE. In addition, the GM advised that when I return to ask for him as he would like to meet me. It's the little things like this act of CUSTOMER SERVICE that separates the good from the great. Thank you very much and I will be frequenting Margaritas again because of the this act of compassion for the customer.
I meant to write this a while ago. I'm talking about SHRINKFLATION but the prices remained the same. This used to be my favorite place to eat. I last time I ate, I was appalled at the food size portions. My wife and I usually ate the same thing...chimichanga, refried beans with rice. The chimichangas were a fraction of what they used to be...the bean portion was that of a child's size as well as the rice. I asked our waitress was it a kids plate and she said no. She said that other customers have been complaining also. For the record, I'm not some glutton or oversized food junkie. I have no problem paying for what I want but what I won't tolerate is SHRINKFLATION!! Considering that most Mexican restaurants usually give you your money worth and some. I have not nor will I frequent Margaritas until they get back to what made...
Read moreThe world flows best when everyone communicates well and follows instructions. Simple online or..website says pull up, call to let them know you've arrived, and they'll bring your food right out...pretty simple, huh?. You would think. I pull up, call.. They say they'll be out with my food in a few minutes. They hang up, I wait..and wait...and wait..I notice others pull up next to me and go in and then come out and leave... that happened about 3 times... so I patiently wait more...30 minutes later, uggg I call again..oh now they say it would more convenient if "I" come in and pick up my food.....(really???) So I go in, and what do I see... my food just sitting there.. I can see the cold omitting from the bag...WHILE 2 people are at the front desk twiddling on their phones... so much for that convenience factor...smh. I pay and then asked for the manager...well what do u know one of the twiddlers were the manager...I explained my situation to complain about the delay AND...he asked me if i called i said yes and waited for someone to come out like your website says but for 30 minutes..he said there must've been then he misunderstanding..he barely gave me an apology and definitely didn't offer me a discount, free appetizer nothing! My wife was understandably upset but got over it real quick when she warmed up and ate her food...the art of customer...
Read moreDon’t come here if you are 21+ and want to have a margarita. They will accuse you and all of your friends of having fake ID’s (we are all 24 and of the legal drinking age with government-issued ID’s) The general manager was unprofessional and rude to us when we were innocent, respectful guests. When we encouraged them to scan our ID’s to see that they are in fact real, he claimed they did not have a scanner. I asked the manager “Does this mean we can never come here for drinks?” He replied while walking away saying, “I don’t know, you guys can try a different night I guess”. The worst experience ever and we will never be coming back. I actually came to celebrate getting my Master’s degree this weekend. Completely ruined the night. It was 7:45 and we needed to eat so we stayed, but we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. UPDATE: The owner of the restaurant told me that one of the workers made a false allegation that one of my friends was not 21+. So now we know that this restaurant denied us service on the basis of false allegations despite presenting them with valid, government-issued ID’s. He yelled at me over the phone and hung up on me after he struggled to defend his business. The staff chose to accept a false verbal claim over legal ID documents, and no reasonable effort was made to verify or correct...
