I am a local business owner who prefers to support local business. I have eaten at Pudges numerous times. After today, I will NEVER step foot in that place again. Google won't let me give zero stars... A simple birthday lunch ended with me calling the police. I have never been treated so rudely, I was hung up on and physically threatened by the owner. My employees ordered lunch for the group. I went to pick it up. Returning to work, I found that my sandwich was wrong. No big deal, mistakes happen. I called again, explained the situation and again told the person what the order should have been. Drove the ~10 minutes back to the store to pickup the order. They were discussing it when I came in so I repeated what the sandwich should have been and asked jokingly if the order was now correct. I was told it was & left. Returning to my business I opened it and found it to be wrong again!! Now upset, I called and told them it was wrong again. The person on the phone laughed and handed the phone to someone else who proceeded to tell me how I did not order the sandwich correctly and to come get the new one. I responded with, I have a business to run & since this is the third time how about you deliver it. He replied he has things to do ask well & hung up on me !!!

I then drove back to get a refund. Very rudely, again he told me how I ordered wrong and that I would have to sue him to get my money back. At that point I raised my voice when I answered his staggering statement. He then tried to take me outside with the threat of physical violence. I immediately called the police and let them handle the situation. I am dumbfounded, speechless, etc. how this could happen & why it happened. If this person was actually the owner, he shouldn't be dealing with the public. Mistakes happen, I get that, but to act and speak as he did was totally...

Called 650 on a Wednesday and my call wouldn’t go through, 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. I got “ my call can not be completed at this time, 3 times, I then CALLED my mother to inform her I would not be picking her up a cheesesteak. My phone bills paid up, 2 things happened…. You take the phones off the hook at a certain time to not allow pickups close to their close time Or Pudges didn’t pay their bill, highly unlikely YES ITS 100% YOUR FAULT BUT BEING YOU SHARE YOUR WEBSITE WITH PUDGES OF BLUEBELL, YET, I WAS TOLD YOU HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH THE BLUE BELL LOCATION 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

IVE NEVER HAD “ MY CALL CANT BE COMPLETED AT THIS TIME” recording unless the person or place I was calling was having phone “ issues “

OK, ANSWER ME THIS, WHAT TIME DO YOU STOP TAKING PHONE ORDERS ON WEDNESDAY??? Honestly if I’m pointing fingers at you and you are pointing fingers at me, it’s obviously a glick in a phone system and I will delete this review as your steaks are decent when I’m able...

Why is this the highest rated cheesesteak in the area? 1) they chop the meat so thin it's irrelevant which animal it came from. 2) they just lazily put the cheese on top of a pile of this nondescript meat. 3) their rolls are generic. What is special about what they're doing to justify being the first result for "best cheesesteak"? Is it because the other reviewers stumbled in from the bar next door and were excited to just have food while drunk?

You'll get a better cheesesteak at WaWa. And I've given this place a FEW chances, assuming maybe I just went at a "bad time". Nope. Their star-rating is either juked, or the people voting simply haven't had a legit good cheesesteak. Don't waste your time if you're looking for a decent cheesesteak. The Marathon gas down the road (Sumneytown and Broad) will literally do much better. Not great, but...

Really disappointed. For somewhere that claims to have the best cheesesteak around I would hope for much more cheese with my steak. This sandwich was supposed to have provolone and wiz (as requested when I ordered it). I believe both types of cheese were on the sandwich but in minuscule amounts. The steak was mostly dry and flavorless. You can see in the photo the cheese wiz was one dollop in the center of the sandwich. Bummer, because we live so close to this restaurant. EDIT: to the owner of Pudge’s that replied to my review: that is exactly how I received the sandwich. The onions fell out of the top because there was barely any cheese holding things together. I bought the sandwich (two of them, actually, and both were identical), on Friday, December 6 around 4:45 or 5pm.

As you will see in many reviews, this is what I would call a little “hole in the wall” restaurant. However, if you want to support local and are looking for a good cheesesteak at an affordable price, this is definitely a good option. The 12” cheesesteak was full of thinly sliced beef and was more than I could eat (their marinara sauce is great, however, make sure to let them know to put the marinara sauce on the side if you’ve never had it on a cheesesteak). I also had the onion rings. If you like thick batter that’s a little on the softer side, as opposed to crunchy, you will enjoy an order of these along with your sandwich. Last but not least, the employees are friendly, kind and very attentive to their customers!

If you follow me, you know I love a good turkey sandwich. These were good enough that I ate here 2-3 times a week while in the area for a month for work. Big enough to feed me for lunch and dinner, the sandwiches from Pudges are really good. The beer battered fries with a side of cheese went well together. They do put oregano on everything, so if that’s not your thing you may want to request they leave it off. The onions are strong; which I like, and the bread soft. They also do a good job a evenly distributing the toppings which I appreciate.
