The location is great, but the service leaves a great deal to be desired. Since it's newly opened I am hoping the kinks get worked out soon. In the past four orders on four different days only once has my order been completed correctly and in a timely manner. Yesterday, the order was correct (via mobile entry) and ready as scheduled. The day before I waited for more than 30 minutes for an in person order of two coffees. While waiting I watched two unhappy customers get snapped at rather rudely after they politely voiced concerns about the accuracy and timeliness of their orders. An overwhelmed and inefficient worker seemed in over her head. From what I observed the drive through line is solidly well-managed. The team allocated one worker to make drinks for the mobile and online orders, one worker for drive through orders and one worker for in-person orders. That would presumably go well if each of the three sectors had the same demand and pacing of inbound orders. Ultimately, management must have a system of which team members serve as back-ups to one another when one area is ahead. I recommend putting the fastest person on duty for in-person orders with the plan to have that person help mobile orders. One time my husband had a whole entire coffee bean in his beverage that he almost choked on while we were on the turn pike, the last time we went there, I added a mocha drizzle to my ice coffee, I in fact did not get a mocha drizzle, I got a mocha half circle. My husband & I will stop at this starbucks before getting on the turn pike, so it’s frustrating when there’s something not right with our coffee & we can’t turn around to bring it back. We also pay extra money for things like a mocha drizzle, so when I get something like the photo I have attached it makes me wonder why I had to pay extra for something like that. This is the second time he’s completely made my day with his personality and warmth. He’s so bubbly, sweet, and personable- he really listens, makes sure our orders are right, and always sends us off with a smile, reminding us to drive safe and have a great day.
