Ray's Pizzeria & Steaks — Restaurant in Towamencin Township

I’ve never experienced customer service from this establishment before, until my last visit. I placed a medium size order. Gentleman read it back to me; 3 things were incorrect on it. I went back over the ordwr. And he said ‘ okay got it’ and he fixed it. I sent my brother to go pick the order up. Which he saw they gave me mozzarella fries and NOT sticks. So he went back in. They told him they couldn’t take the food back and he has to buy mozzarella sticks. Also, we only ordered 2 pizzas. They gave us 3 and charged for 3. It ended up costing $140 when it should have cost $110. The woman at the register was rude and nasty. I try to be understanding, but when you start putting blame on ME! Who was reading an order directly off my phone ……. And the error was on who was transcribing it. They told me to bring the pizza back and they’d give me a refund…. I probably wasted more in energy and gas than this establishment cost in supplies for this pizza. Who knows. Maybe they gave it to someone else....

Can I give No stars?!?! I’ve been ordering for years here, We call up to pace an order and the woman who answers reads off my old address. We tell her no, we moved much closer you now We give her the address and she says she can’t find it in her system, I say ok we’re 4 minutes from you now where as we were about 10 min previously. She says we can’t deliver, I laugh and say because we’re not in the system?. The development is at least five years old. We aren’t the first house in 5 years to Oder delivery from you in the development, considering we are really close . She doesn’t care. I say just take down the address and look at google. She says no. She was rude and totally ignorant. I’m guessing you’re doing that well you don’t need our business. So I’ll make sure to tell everyone in my development of atleast 50 Homes that they don’t want our business. I wished her a merry Christmas and called another place to give...

For the last couple weeks My workers and I have been getting take out from Rays. This Friday we called our order in around 11am for 11:45 pick up. I show up , wait in line and when my time comes they have no record of our order. Long story short , whomever took the order ( was a man ) put our order down for that night. They weren’t made. We only have a half hour for lunch so I wasn’t about to wait while they were made. I will say that the woman who’s been at the register every time I’ve gone in was polite, apologetic and offered to make them. Again , if I wanted to wait In person for them we’d not have gone through the trouble of calling them in. For an industry struggling right now, who’s whole system is based on take out , perhaps You should hire someone who can take orders properly.
